Bought this scope to mount on my Gamo Big Cat 1200 in .22 cal. It works great and holds a zero. Make sure you buy high scope mounts so the scope can clear the barrel. I'm extremely happy with my purchase an recommend this scope to anyone looking for a replacement.
I just installed this scope on my Umarex Octane .22 Air Rifle and was very pleasantly surprised that I had it sighted in with less than 10 shots. I then shot 60 Benjamin .22 Caliber Hollow Point Pellets (14.3 gr) at 20 yards and this scope never lost zero. My accuracy has improved drastically since I have installed an "anti- cant" level to insure I am holding my rifle perfectly in line with my scope. Time will tell if this scope holds up to the heavy recoil of this gun. I am replacing a Centrepoint 3-9x40 which was destroyed by the recoil.
this scope is very clear and is holding up well has over 1200 shots on a 1073 tuned air rifle recomend opticaly center before mounting
Very good air rifle scope.
So far it has been excellent. Clear, easy to install, easy to focus, and the variable power plus AO quality made it a good buy at 60 dollars. My sons have now ordered one each and so we will have three up and running in a week. We shoot air rifles to shoot a lot of practice and the next question will be... can it hold up to extensive use in the rough and tumble world of air scope longevity.
A good value for the price. Be sure to optically align the scope before mounting it, they are not close . The coating is of very poor quality and the power and adjustable optics are very stiff, but you get what you pay for and it is a good value for what you get in features.
I have bought items from Wal-Mart before and this is the first time I was disappointed? The retaining ring for the front lenses was so loose the scope rattled. I have tightened it down by hand and hope it is in good shape, time will tell.
