Saved money. GREAT PRODUCT!
This was a great buy and the petals were easy to install using the adapters. They have held up so far and been a great quick, inexpensive fix for my bike.
Bought to use on my recumbent bike. It worked great and had pedals changed in under five minutes. The extra bolt size adapter will let this pedal fit any bike. Would buy again.
I needed to replace a pedal on a 12" bike (ironically the 12" Boys' Tonka Mighty Tough Bike that Walmart sells). These pedals are quite a bit bigger than the original kid sized pedals, but were the only replacement pedals I could find in my town. They worked fine are don't look too out of place. For the price they are very solid, and much better than the original pedals I replaced. Just remember that when replacing, on one side of the bike you will actually turn one of the pedal shafts clockwise to loosen counter-clockwise to tighten. Seems odd to me, but that is what the instructions said and they were correct.
Quick and good
I needed 1/2inch to 9/16 adapters. This is the only way I could get them. Buy the pedals and all. To bad they do not sell adapters alone everyone is looking for them. The pedals are ok if you like plastic. My friends grand kid liked them and they fit his bike without the adapters. So he got new pedals
This pedal set matched the original almost exactly and was easy to install. They are not high-end product, but to replace a broken pedal on a department store bike, they are great! Price is right, too!
What I thought I ordered was childrens bike pedal replacements with external threads. These are full size with opposite threads and wont fit. These are the same thing I could have purchased in the store for less but the store does not carry childrens replacments so I paid more and shipping to get what I thought was childrens online. They say "universal" size but I guess if you have an adult bike. If you want adult replacements then they are good but available in store for less and no shipping.
These pedals are basically a plastic "pedal" molded around a bolt. There are no bearings or anything, just plastic and metal rubbing against each other. They broke on me in about a week, then I was stuck riding home on a rod which wore a hole in the bottom of my shoe causing a blister. Will work fine for little kids bikes, something that is not put through any kind of abuse other than that go for something alloy.
Sorry friends. I had hoped for a good deal, but the right pedal broke after just a few rides. It turns out that these have metal cores, but are clad in rather cheap plastic.
