I got this table at Walmart for a great price, and am very happy with the quality and playability of the table. Part of what you are paying for is the table comes almost completely assembled, and for some people like me, it is totally worth it. I narrowed my choice of tables based on this criteria, and the Stiga Daytona fit the bill for me perfectly. It looks great and plays great! Very sturdy and does not look cheap like some other tables. The table is in my sunroom and the black top blends in much better than a green or blue would have. Also, I like the way it folds and how it looks folded since I will be storing it behind my sofa when not in use. I did a lot of research before choosing this table, and I am extremely happy with my choice!
For the price, this is a great table. If you are looking for a table that is built well but wont break the bank, this is it. It easily fits into the back of a pick-up truck (Tahoma). You will need at least two people to handle it at 265 lbs. The table goes together in about 10-15 mins. We had one problem; missing hardware. We were missing one screw, bushing, and knob that holds the base together. I over came the problem with my own hardware. I called the factory and requested the replacement parts, still waiting for them to arrive. Highly reccomend the table, get it and get ready for FUN!!!
We had done our homework on table tennis tables and chose this one due to the excellent reviews. Well we expected a good product from the start. Let me tell you this is not a good product, but a GREAT product. It is as heavy as can be so you need 4 strong males to put it up and in place, even in the transport. The company did an excellent job in packing. It is encased in a good wooden frame to protect it as well as excellent cardboard packaging. The table in itself took about 10 mins to get it to the play position, just some minor bolts in place. It is a fantastic product. We are thrilled with it and would recommend it to everyone. Worth every penny.
Great table at a reasonable price. We looked at many ping pong tables online and read many reviews. The complaints about assembling cheaper tables pushed me to spend a little more. I'm glad I did! The table arrived at my local Walmart. You need a full-size pickup truck to get this as it is heavy (220 lbs.) and the full width of the truck bed. Shipping is free if you buy online and choose to pick up at the local store - that saved us a lot on shipping costs! There were no male associates at Walmart to help carry it out, just a woman who brought it to me on a rolling cart. It wouldn't fit through the store door laying down. Fortunately I had taken a friend with me and we stood it up on end and balanced it from each side as the woman pushed the cart through the store door. When we got home, we opened the box on the garage floor and took it down to the basement in pieces. This still required two people! Putting the table together was very easy (you don't even need all the tools the box says you need). My wife and son and I put it together in 20 minutes - piece of cake! It rolls easily, but I would only recommend that adults lift the sides for storage as you have to do this a certain way to keep the inside edges of the table halves from rubbing/scratching on each other. It's not a big deal, but I wouldn't trust my 11-year-old to lift one side - the table top is made of particle board (MDF?). The outside corners and sides of the table top are completely protected by metal and plastic edging which is nice. My kids 11 and 13 love it. It does come with a net, but no paddles or balls. No regrets!
Once we figured out the assembly manual, we were easily able to assembly This is a strong table and it looks nice. For the price this is a great table.
We've had this ping pong table for about 3 weeks. The whole family loves it. It was a gift for our two son's birthdays in April. The table was really easy to assemble. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. My wife and I had it together in less than 30 minutes and that included unpacking. You do have to lift it onto its frame so it definitely takes 2 people. The table has a great feel to it. The bounce seems really true and both the table and net feel like high quality construction . It also is easy to fold up into the wall play and solo practice position. It did not come with paddles or balls. We are very satisfied and would purchase this table again from Walmart. The shipping was free when we purchased it and the table actually showed up sooner than initially promised by 9 days!! I can't think of any negatives!!
The ping pong table is great! We've already had a lot of fun playing ping pong. It took a little longer than expected to assemble the table but it looks great and is very sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone.
The absolute best thing about this table was the fact that it came almost completely assembled already. My kids had been asking me to buy them a ping pong table for over a year but I kept putting it off because of the daunting task of putting one together. When I ran across this one that said it only took minutes to put together I first investigated to make sure it was true and then I immediately bought it! My son and I took it out of the box but we did have to call my husband out to help us because the pieces are quite heavy. It only took us about 15 minutes to take out of the box and put together, and my kids were playing immediately thereafter. My son who is very fussy about quality is completely happy with it and has declared that he is so happy it isn't a piece of junk. I have seen less expensive tables, of course, but the $400 was alone worth it because we didn't have to spend hours trying to figure out how to put it together.
After reviewing several tables, we chose the Stiga Quick Play, we wanted a solidly built, folding table that we could quickly put together and in play in a short amount of time. The Stiga, delivered by Walmart at a best price, delivered on all counts. It's a well made solid table and was easy to assemble. I highly recommend the table to any family looking for a good mid range tourney table without having to spend hundreds or even thousand dollars more.
The table comes in a large package that weighs around 250 lbs. You would be better off opening the package and moving the table part by part. Our table had a dented side panel and a strut that was two inches shorter than the other three. A week since picking it up, it is not fully assembled because we are waiting on parts. Other than that the table seems to be of good quality and the company responded quickly to our phone call. They should package the table in two containers to make transport easier. You will need at least two people to assemble.
