great product, comfortable, flexible, and pretty in pink. I use them for the speed bag they protect my knuckles. thanks Walmart.
These gloves are great for a beginner like me who doesn't know how to wrap hand wraps just yet. You just slip them on and you're good to go. They fit snug, which I'll have to get use to but overall a very great product.
These are a new improved pair I bought for my wife. She uses them for teaching kick boxing class as bag gloves. She has average size women's hands and really likes the way the medium size fits, and feels they are a great value.
I use these gloves for kickboxing, and the gel lining really helps protect my hands. They're durable and so cute too!
No need to learn and master hand wrapping techniques for beginners, this product provides great wrist support and some padding for the knuckles. Product is intended to be worn with gloves when working out on the heavy bag. However, I would recommend a sizing chart be added to the product information to insure proper fit, this is the only reason I did not rate at 5 stars. I ordered the medium gloves and they are a little small for me but will become more comfortable with use.
Several ladies in my boxing class have these gloves and love them. Personally, I didn't find them to cover far enough down on my fingers and I prefer something a little more padded and supportive for when I punch the bag. If you are not a hard hitter these gloves will be just fine for you.
I started Kickboxing . my friend would let me borrow her gloves. When I went to purchase my own they do not make her kind anymore. These I bought are very similar but are missing the patted underside. That makes a hugh difference. I might have paid an xtra 4$ to have pink.. that is nuts. Over they are fine.
I got a M/L because someone else had commented 'too small'. I felt the glove part around my hand could have been smaller. However, the finger loops were way too tight. I stretched them out with my fingers, and that helped. My boxing coach says most people with those types of hand wraps will cut a little slit in the finger loop if necessary. Hindsight - I would have gone smaller hand wraps, and cut the slits in the finger holes. one of the thumb stitchings ripped a little on my 2nd use. I'm not too concerned about it. I like them for what they were worth. I'm not going to get other ones, and would order them again.
The gloves pictured are not the gloves that arrived. The ones in the picture have the cross straps and the palms are more rubberized. The ones that arrived do not have the cross straps and the palms are slippery material which slides everywhere when trying to do planks on wood floors (part of my combat routine). Returned them - which went well. The gloves pictured may be discontinued from Everlast - very hard to find.
So I read the reviews for this and thought I was getting a pretty good deal and it would support my hands for boxing. That was not the case for me. This is just my experience, but I wanted to be thorough for anyone that may have a situation similar to mine. These tore my hands up. When I say tore up - the skin from my knuckles is completely gone. I have a bruise from my ring finger all the way down the front of my hand to my wrist. It looks broke, but it's not - just sore and bruised. It's making for a nice water cooler discussion this morning since all of my coworkers now think I'm involved in some underground fight club - HA! The size I had was proper and they fit, but I am a hard hitter. I don't play around when I train and these just were not appropriate for what I needed them for. If you are shadow boxing or if you are just barely going to hit the bag, these may be ok. But, they destroyed my hands after only a short time. If you're like me and you are a girl that doesn't hit like one - do yourself a favor and upgrade to the nice padded ones that cover your entire hand! You will be glad you did. These are going back to the store....
