Affordable and easy to use.
We replaced a very old model recumbent bike with this upright model and are very happy. It provides a very quiet ride and we love the different levels of resistance which are very accommodating for varying levels of ability of all those using it. I opted to assemble it myself and it was quite easy!
Assembly was reasonably easy, depending on how good you are at things like that. The pulse reading seems very erratic. Overall, however, it's pretty substantial and was a good value, assuming it holds up, which I think it will. It's a lot less expensive than most similar machines, so I was a little concerned about quality, but I'm pleased with it.
It is great product for the money
my main concern when buying this is that the seat post wouldnt go high enough for my long legs. Past experience with these kind of bikes is having to bend my stiff knee more than it likes do to a low seat hight. This bike exceeds my needs actually. Im 6ft 6in and dont use the highest seat post setting. Amazingly it actually goes up so high I have to tip toe on full extension! The app resistance control also works on workouts that include it. Had it a month now and it exceeded my skeptical expectations and its $1700 less than a pelaton :) you do have to register with ifit to "unlock" the bike, fyi.
I bought this exercise bike specifically because I know that riding in exotic areas across the globe will keep me interested. However, iFit has proven to be untrustworthy. I signed up for the monthly payment plan and the second month, without warning, they charged my fiancee's debit card for an entire year. That was not the agreement. To protect Proform's name, iFit needs to change their practices. Their customer service is also non-existent; it's run by bots who don't reply correctly. I would recommend Proform's product, but not iFit. Some are skeptical to purchase, because it is mandatory to register the product through iFit. That's OK, since there is an unpaid version of iFit. Just NEVER give them your card number!
I use this product for general fitness. I've been using this product for the past month, and this is the basis of my evaluation. Overall, the product has worked satisfactorily. Assembly was straight-forward and I was able to do it by myself in probably about an hour. I've used the product about 3x weekly, on average. It is easy to operate. It is also easy to move from room to room, which is a big plus! The seat is "ok", but I find that it's perhaps just a bit too wide for my taste. The one annoying issue I've had with the exercise bike is this: within one month of use the exercise bike has developed a noticeable "knock" every time I push downward in the right pedal.... this is annoying and makes me wonder what will be the next issue to develop since this has happened after only one month of use.
Works well, easy to assemble. Seat is a little high though, i am 5'5 and i just pushed it all the way to the bottom. I wish it would have the adjuster notches a little lower. I liked that it had bluetooth but i hated that in order to use it you have to download ifit app and pay membership, which is costly. Overall, i kept it and am using it.
Seat is sooo uncomfortable! :( I have lot of butt cushion and it's still crazy uncomfortable. The seat is so wide so it's hard to find a cover but I found one that barely fits and it's just a little bit better. Ugh.
This was purchased for my wife by her choice Everything seems a little flimsy / loose when I'm using it, and I have went back and tightened everything. The water bottle holder is way to low and im only 5'10" so the seat is not very high. Seat is not comfortable. Heart rate handles not accurate at all. Wasn't to hard to put together. I wanted to return it wife wanted to keep it she said she would use it. Guess what 4 weeks later not even once has she used it. Looks like I'll take a loss when we sell it at the city wide garage sale. I would not recommend this to anybody.
