Most of the potatoes were fine... like the 2 in the second photo. 4 of them had weird looking small blisters all over that smelled moldy until they dried out.
I usually love red potatoes, but lately the quality has been horrible. I couldn't tell you the last time I bought a bag that didn't contain a moldy potato. Most of the time it's just the outside, and I cut it off so I can use the rest of the potato. This most recent bag, though, is really bad.
All of the potatoes in the bag are rotting and smelly. I do not know how anyone could miss this. Clearly returning and disappointed that these would be given to anyone. The smell is awful
Whoever picked these should be fired because they were really really smelly. I was able to take a scrub brush and get the dried rot off of most of them. Ugh…
There were rotten potatoes in the bag, the ones that were good had to be peeled and used, we wanted the skins. Then they tasted like an old musty room. Had to throw out the potato soup that we made. Very disappointed
I bought 3-5lb bags of potatoes and one bag had Half of it with rotten potatoes. I wish the baggers would check the bags better. I don't live in town so I didn't return because of the miles I live from town. I do pick ups so didn't see this until I got home .
Be weary of your potatoes!! I've gotten them a million times and never had an issue. Thanksgiving I found a blade of metal in our mashed potatoes. If I hadn't of mashed them I wouldn't ever know. I checked any possible way it would have been from my home. There's literally no possible way! Please check your potatoes!!!
Horrible. I got spoiled potatoes from a pickup order. Potatoes are supposed to be dry and a little dusty but the red potatoes I got were wet and funky smelling. If I could opt for a refund, I would.
My potatoes were smooshy wet and smelled awful when I opened them, completely disappointed. Guaranteed freshness is a lie.
This band is normally good when I buy from Publix. I ordered on Walmart and the whole bag was rotten. The manufacturer needs clear bags so people won't waste their money.
