I ordered 3 online an one got 1 they never substituted it for another item so, I hope they give me a refund for the 2 I didn't receive. An it was horrible in size usually there nice and full these looked like smaller ones.
Got home with my pick-up order and putting groceries away and the back side package of romaine lettuce looked like it had been frozen browning and splits in some of the stalks
The heart of Romaine lettuce was brown and soggy it should've been crispy and greenery and white I don't really like paying for that so now I have to get out got to Walmart and return and get satisfactory lettuce for dinner company defeated my purpose of grocery delivery but the delivery driver was awesome
Walmart pickup is getting way too lazy to even check their products prior to packaging them. Last week my bag of frozen chicken was completely opened. This time my lettuce is all old and moldy! I just bought it two days ago, my fridge is brand new so it isn't from a faulty fridge and I went to make a salad for dinner and as I cut into it, it's all old and has juices at the bottom of the bag! Sheer disgustingness!
I swear whenever they have picker for groceries they choose the most moldy,grossest and expired product on the shelf. The lettuce was soggy and clearly was red inside the package. I opened it and the smell was so bad I nearly threw up. I now have to deep clean my fridge because now im sure it effected everything by else. I thought at first it was the outer layer only to find it went all the way to the roots on each piece. Immediately had to be thrown away.
the service that you're providing for ordering and pick up is awesome however I think that you should train your workers more on picking produce I received letters that was rotate and not edible in my eyes and what I paid for is not acceptable we have we work hard for our money no matter how it comes.
Bag was open across most of the bottom, stems were red and dry, lettuce dry and wilted. Terrible at $1.00 each in an open bag of 3. How could employee shopper put this in my cart? If it was the last one I might understand. No I'd say like many others items on my list "ITEM NOT AVAILABLE"
I have been ordering groceries at Walmart with pick up for months. I have ordered very few fresh items since I can't see them and know they are fresh. This morning on my order I thought I'd try some fresh items. One of them were "Fresh Romaine Lettuce Hearts". The attached pictures. The first and second pictures show the comparison to a package of romaine I picked up at Aldi after I got the Walmart product home. The third shows that the romaine from Walmart was harvested on March 21, today is April 2, this product is over 12 days old. The heads are shriveled, dry and flat. I'm throwing this package away, I won't eat them as they are too old.
This was a substitute for a out of stock order. I get it home… date to be used by: April 19th. Today's date April 27th. This is so irritating!!! I have had this happen too many times. Done with Walmart
Very disappointing to count on Employees to shop for you in the store when you have a busy overtime schedule. And you get some thing that's over 10 days old. When it comes to fresh things like lettuce, I want it to be fresh. Now I have to take my time to return it. I'm not going to throw it away. That's my hard earned money. This is the second bag I've had like this.
