Bag salad selected for grocery order pick up; salad sell by date was 20 April and purchased on 23 April. Store should not have sold at regular price to customers. Salad looked bad, and I wasn't planning to eat anyway, then I noticed the date……also strawberries was unbeatable, to my standards. I've purchased strawberries many times but this time most was damaged and so dirty. Maybe change vendor
one bag of salad was already turning brown and it wasn't past sale date ...it was a grocery pickup order
Was a few days pass expired date, we had with dinner and made us sick I try not to purchase produce for delivery-however wanted to not have to ask my daughter to stop by Fresh Thyme to pick up Romaine salad
i dont know if it's the personal shoppers or poor management not checking the produce, but for the last 3 pickup orders, usually one of the three bags has brown, slimy lettuce that can't be eaten. Come on Walmart, you can do better.
I was giving some rotten salad %26 I have a huge problem with that. Because common sense will tell you not to sell something like that. %26 it's very noticeable it's the FIRST THING I SEEN when I grabbed it out the bag. This is ridiculous!
Check bags before purchase. I could not use all lettuce in bags was very wet and wilted. Another bag i had to toss in garbage. This is the 5th time this has happened.
We did a pickup order late in the day yesterday and went straight home and placed our salad in the frig. The next day it was already brown and slimy looking. I'm returning this!! I feel like it may have been frozen at one time!! . It's “supposed” to be good for two more days!
Since Walmart has changed their packaging the salad has become less and the quality is worse. I buy for the week. This is the second time since the package changing and the quality is wilted slimy and half of it is unedible.
This is the first time I've been disappointed with a salad purchase, but this bag I received today has a brownish icky wet cast about it! The date is fine but I'll be throwing it away:(
The 2 bags of lettuce we ordered both had a use by date of January 20, 2024. However the lettuce was pink and willing all soggy and gross. This should have never made it to the grocery order. This should have been thrown out.
