They were a little smelly but I soaked them in baking soda and vinegar for about 1/2 hour. Then I rinsed them very well. I pat them dry and let them sit for an hour. I sliced them and water sautéed them with my my favorite seasoning. They were soooo yummy. I paired them with some kale greens and vegan cornbread.
I requested brown mushrooms but you gave me white
mushrooms not Fresh as advertised sent as substitution for original choice (unavailable). 2. what was delivered in afternoon minus two items and the mislabeled mistake from the morning.
These rotting mushrooms are slimy, discolored, and smell like raw sewage! The smell alone makes me wonder why a Walmart employee would place obviously decomposing mushrooms in a bag for delivery to a customer. The black liquid was all over everything in the bag. SIMPLY DISGUSTING! Do better, Walmart.
Where's the expiration date? Not anywhere visible on the package. Exactly how long will it be “freshness guaranteed” when there's no date? Forever? I'm past sick of no dates on food. I guess if it's all lab grown it won't matter cause it'll be grown to never rot?
This was delivered today. The mushrooms were already soggy and starting to rot. It's bad enough that food is 10 to 20% more expensive where you're paying more money for less food, but then the fresh food you're ordering isn't even fresh. Totally FRUSTRATING!
We ordered some mushrooms yesterday and they were already molded.
Mushrooms were totally damaged, rotten. Also half of those were white mushrooms. Not brown. And they all looked like already expired.
This item arrived today moldy on the stem, smelly, broken plastic wrap, mushrooms exposed and slimy. Please don't send spoiled items.
Received open pack of rancid mushrooms that were smelly and dripping wet. This is the second time I've received mushrooms in this state from this store. Absolutely disgusting and how you get people sick. This was packaged with and cross contaminating our blueberries.
