[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With busy family life, it's hard to come up with simple meal plans that are nutritious, flavorful, kid-friendly, affordable, and quick and easy to prepare. Eckrich Cheddar Smoked Sausage made with pork, turkey, and beef, is our grocery "must buy" staple that meets all of those objectives. It's the main component of dinners that I can prepare in under 30 minutes. It's great for the grill, and I also love to seer it in a cast iron skillet on the stove top. Our family loves the flavor. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with small bits of gooey melted cheddar cheese. The links are great served with beans and rice or tossed salad. I also serve it in tortillas with sautéed onions and bell pepper. It's mild flavor adds to great brunches accompanied with eggs. The recipe options truly are endless. It's such a versatile food. The children also enjoy this sausage for an after school snack. I cut them lengthwise, then into kid-size bits and serve them with crackers and mustard and fresh veggie sticks. This really is our favorite sausage!
These are amazing. I made corndogs with them in the new Pillsbury cord dog wrapper. I think the cornbread swirls would have been better but the sausage was a treat. Great on a bun or roasted over a fire.

These Eckrich are tasty, easy to combine with other food to create a delicious meal. Very good to eat as hot dog with appropriate condkments.
My roommate got these and said they were kind of chemically tasting so she wrote to the manufacturer and got two coupons for free sausages! Sometimes it's best to make your complaints directly to the source and not to Walmart.
We used to love these, but the last 2 packages have tasted really badly. They taste like chemicals or plastic. They used to have plenty of cheese, but these last two packages also barely had any cheese. Highly disappointed. Will stop buying these.

These things are awful. So much worse than the johnsonville ones. I highly recommend avoiding them at all cost. Just get the bar S hotdogs if you're looking for something cheap. They're way better and much cheaper.
Taste like chemicals! I've had 3 packages two regular and one jalapeno I threw all them out because the chemical taste, I ate two of these and I am now sick! Please fix asap.
It had a hole in package, had to throw away.
