I used to be a total milk chocoholic. Several months ago I switched to dark chocolate (the darker, the better) and haven't looked back. I look forward to my one decadent square every day. The lack of a ton of sugar keeps me from craving the entire bar.
My favorite percentage of this great chocolate….when I am out shopping and get food cravings I will buy one of these instead of fast food… and save the rest of it to share with my husband??
Love chocolate but any Lactose makes me ill. I had to research to find Lindt: Excellence 85% Cocoa Extra Dark has no milk. I buy a bar weekly, it's not the best tasting chocolate, it's hard as opposed to a Milk Chocolate. But the trade off off of being able to eat chocolate safely is great.
Tis is 85% cocoa not 85% cacao. There is a different. Cocoa is highly processed and much lesser in nutrient as compared to cacao. I was confused now i know.
For people who love super dark chocolate, this is for you. I love dark chocolate up to about 70% dark. Past 70% it starts tasting more like tree bark to me than anything else. Unfortunately, this means that the Lindt 85% tasted like straight tree bark to me. I do love Lindt dark chocolate, but I definitely don't like this one.

This item was delivered by U.S Mail to my mailbox. It melted in the mailbox into liquid chocolate. Please do not ever ship chocolates by mail.
I paid $12.99 because the description said "12 individually wrapped bars". Imagine my surprise when ONE SINGLE BAR arrived. I contacted Walmart customer care about this, but the seller is claiming I ordered only 1 bar. NO. I did not pay $12.99 for ONE SINGLE CHOCOLATE BAR THAT COSTS $3.26 IN STORE while the description literally says "12 individually wrapped bars". I have a screen recording showing the description says this in case they try to go back and cover up. I'm going to have to contact Walmart higher ups to get a refund. This is ridiculous and I don't actually have the time to fight over being stiffed on 11 chocolate bars. I will never work with this vendor again.
This chocolate was not like any other ones I've had in the past it was very very bitter and it made my teeth “tingle” very disappointing and the packaging could have been better.
