Being a fan of fruit slice gels, I have to admit I've tried literally a hundred manufacturers products. Up until you reach the point they are sold by-the-slice, they taste mostly the same and have a rather dry consistency. Not with these. The Zachary Fruit Slices are pleasingly plump and moist, the flavour is distinct and readily identifiable, and the overall pleasure is very high. This is now the only brand I purchase when I shop for fruit slice gels. If my local store doesn't have them, I wait till the next shipment. The quantity per container is quite good for the cost. Around my house, a container lasts most of a week, depending on self-restraint. Would I recommend Zachary's to my friends? I already do.
My dad is 93, and likes soft, easily chewed candies. Jelly candies fit the bill. These are always fresh and a great price. 2lbs for under $4. The local grocery store sells 1lb for 4.99. A very popular delivery company sells 3 pounds for $21.00. I highly recommend these. Fresh, soft and affordable.
These are good fruit slices. They are flavorful. They came in a sealed tub. They come fresh and stay fresh because the lid snaps back onto the tub. I love them.
I have never had a gumdrop at any price that was as good as these . They are soft and genuinely delicious. Not to mention the price is right. Keep them coming
Normally, these are great when packaged as advertised. But lately, they're more like a container of lime slices with a few lemon, cherry, and orange slices thrown in to make it seem like there's a variety. That'd be fine if I liked the lime slices, but I hate them, so I always throw them out. Which means I'm going to end up throwing out most of this container. What a waste. Won't be buying them again unless I can go into the store and pick out the container with the least amount of green lime slices. At least they don't also include purple artificial grape flavored slices. They're worse than the artificially flavored lime ones.
I've purchased these enough now to write this review. I really like this candy when it is made, properly, but the quality is inconsistent. I don't enjoy them when they are thick, hard and waxy tasting. I also do not like it when I get an uneven distribution of flavors; I got, mostly, cherry and wintergreen in the latest batch. only 2, maybe 3, of the orange and lemon. Can you guess my favorites? So, I'm on to jelly beans now.
I read a review of somebody complaining that they had too many green slices. but it doesn't much matter because they really all taste the same. however they were very fresh.
The walmart.com app says that the package was delivered to me at 3:56 pm on November 13th 2023. my wife and I were home at the time and did not receive any package. I'm wondering if the delivery person might have dropped the package off to the wrong address. please help me with this matter.
Ordered 6 of these. 2 had dates on the bottom and were fresh, but the date sticker was removed from the other 4 and they were hard an I would assume out-dated.
Received Zachary Assorted Fruit Slices damaged, lid was cacked open tossing all the sugary fruit slices throughout the box and sugar powder on other products in box. No packing material used to prevent items from being tossed around in box.
