I have eatten or made these tater tots since I was a kid. The quality is as consistant today as it was then. If your taste buds want something crispy, scrumptious and delicious these tots will fit the bill anywhere or anytime. I recommend this product whole heartedly.
My husband picked a 32 ounce (2lb) bag of Ore-Ida Golden Tater Tots from the grocery store. These iconic frozen shredded potatoes were part of my childhood. They are absolutely delicious, especially when cooked in the air fryer.
Won't buy these again, quality just wasn't there. This is a case of the Walmart store brand Great Value being a better product. I expect better from a national name brand product.
I used love this but all my recent purchase had some unknown green and black stuff on them because of that now I'm looking for different brand. See pictures
I'm not sure what changed, but they fall apart and taste off and greasy. I bought 2 bags and they're both the same. I cook them in the air fryer and they just turned to mush and made a big mess. Tried cooking them in a pan since they were falling apart and they just dont taste good.
These things are horrible! How can a tater tot in an air fryer be disgusting? it doesn't taste like potato at all. it just falls apart. I have a daycare with eight kids who eat tater tots every morning. I wondered why I always got the Walmart brand, which by the way are delicious. someone there decided because I was getting three small bags that maybe they should do me the favor and substitute a great big bag of Ore-ida. I cannot get any of the kids to eat these and I wondered what the deal was. I tasted them and they are just horrible. They aren't cooking up right in the air fryer there's definitely something wrong. It's very possible I had these years ago and forgot how horrible they were, until I ended up with another bag of them.
the entire bag was split open across the bottom ------- and when i took the bag of tater tots out of the walmart bag ------- all the tater tots fell out into the walmart bag.
i tried air fryer turned to mush and i tried deep frying and turned to mush these are terrible they changed something with thesd tator tots please 🙏 change them back these suck majorly
This particular bag of tator tots were grayish and had a foul smell along with the discoloration. Each tator tot had big black pieces in them and when we still cooked them to give them a try, we spit them out immediately! I would like a refund. Seems as if they tator tots were thawed and then refrozen again. I’m not sure why they are defected the way they are. These pictures don’t do too much justice but I’m posting them anyway.
WORST EVER tater tots. Crumbled in the deep fryer, potatoes have a funky taste - like old potatoes (one reason why they crumbled).
