Used it the day I got it on my gas golf cart as battery was dead and I needed to move it. I will be carrying this in my truck everyday. I’m also excited to carry it in my Jeep when I go Offroad, it will be a part of my equipment I take for rescue/recovery when on the trails. Because of its size & weight, it’s takes less space than the jumper cables I used to carry. I also live on a farm. During bad storms we sometimes loose electricity. Having this to charge cell phones if we are without power also gives me peace of mind
I purchased the unit having seen one being used, on my car. It impressed me and thought I needed to have one in my car. No more bulky jumper cables and try to get two vehicles close enough to allow the jumper cables to reach. Hope I get to help another person in distress with it.
I’ve only had it for a week or so and I already have found multiple uses for it. Jumped off my daughters vehicle and can also use it as a charging station on the back porch for my phone, ha. Love it!

I have two of them. I have used it to jump some one else’s car only once. I use mine to off load and retrieve two heavy kayaks on to my trailer. I really like the new one to charge my phone. Really nice when on the water. Great product!!!
I didn’t not use mine at this time. I bought it because I was stuck with a dead battery and my sister- in- law had one it started my car in no time. I was very impressed so bought one to have on hand!
Unit is compact and well built. Easy to follow instructions. Yet to be used for an actual jump start. Use battery to recharge phone overnite. I really like it so far. David K
Multiple reasons for purchase Main purpose was for my wifes safety Fortunately it has not been used But that is the issues with safety items Low use but handy when required
Was hoping for a compact but usable jump starter. The leads are very short so makes the connections difficult if attaching to the safer remote leads rather than directly to the battery terminals. Despite the shorter leads, the storage bag is inadequate to hold the leads and jump starter without really trying to shove it all in. However, it does jump start a car.
I received the Cobra Jumpack Mini-CPP 8500. First of all there is NO charger to charge it, that's sold separately which you're not told when ordering. I have no idea when the unit is charged. Green lights go on and the last one blinks for a couple of minutes, then it goes out. So what does this mean. This item comes with NO manual or operating instructions that tell you how it should operate. All that comes is a piece of paper that shows where to plug things, but nothing else. I don't know if the unit came fully charged or how long does it take to charge it. Until I have a dead battery to jump, I don't even know if it works.
