For these pot pies being cooked in the microwave, they are fabulous pictures to prove it below..there are nice chunks of real white meat chicken, real peas %26 sliced carrots. The crust is flaky even on the bottom. This is worth every penny .. whether you are a kid or an adult, fantastic. Definitely not salty. Flavor is perfect. Gravy is creamy.. this Marie Callender chicken pot pie is a home run!
I purchased this at Walmart yesterday because it had been ages since I had chicken pot pie. I have to say I was quite pleased with this considering it is a microwave meal that cooks for only ten minutes. Let the photo do the talking !
Love the chicken pot pie! The crust, the filling, it's all a great tasting & filling meal for the young & old alike. Get one today!
I usually love Marie Callender`s chicken pot pies but this was a big no on the one I ordered yesterday. I cooked it in the microwave (for lunch today) as usual and at the correct time but there were maybe three tiny pieces of chicken, three peas, and was that a sliver of carrot? and no gravy. The crust was hard and uneatable. I might order again but doubtful now.
Tried a number of different times. The crust is always broken and a good part of the filling is spilled out and inedible and also the crust ruined and inedible.
Boxed items damaged!
Ordered February 4, 2024 Marie Callender's chicken pot pie single serve frozen meal 10 ounce….I had this pie and it was disgusting. The smell was awful from this one rotten piece of meat. You're unable to know until you eat some of the pie being that it's encased with crust and gravy and watch it as you're eating it. I ate half of the pie without knowing thinking to myself it seemed a little off from the other pies that I've had. Another concern of mine is , how many people will be eating this rotten piece of chicken that was cut up throughout the pies that they processed. This needs to be reported in case of food poisoning concerns. I have pictures of this incident. You can see how rotten it is. It's black. I made sure to check the pies temperature it was 172 when cooked. This pie was bought at Walmart Tillman‘s corner, Mobile, Alabama store. I do not believe that the store had any involvement in this particular incident or that it might've been previously thawed out and refrozen. It does not seem that way. Tried contacting the company customer service, they did not care. Sent from my iPhone
I have been buying MC chicken pot pies for some time because they were very tasty but lately they have been going down hill. The last one I ate had 2 or 3 tiny pices of chicken a couple of peas only a dab of gravy and a whole lotta crust. What happen? I will be trying a new brand for my next purchase
Never received none of my groceries
I used to really like these, but hadn't had any for several years. Just had one for dinner and it was a huge disappointment. The top of the crust had sauce from the inside that bubbled up and made it gummy and didn't crisp up at all. The sauce inside was more like paste than sauce and had very little taste to it. The crust had a funky taste, and aftertaste. When I looked at the ingredients I saw it's made with soybean oil, which explains the funky taste and aftertaste. There were hardly any vegetables (maybe 5 peas and 2 pieces of carrot), and very little chicken. It was mostly the gummy filling and I no potatoes. I guess they have substituted the icky thick filling for potatoes. Considering they have 610 Calories,36 grams of fat, and 950mg of salt, and are this bad, with so little in them, I could have had a large full meal instead. I can guaranteed that I won't buy them again.
