Theres a hole ion the bag had to throw away
I loved them! Seasoned them really good. I like my potatoes crunchy a bit. It comes out so good. I keep on purchasing these. So if so they are good. I cook them on the stove for a 15 minutes on each side and it comes out really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great potatoes!
I love how convenient these are to have on hand in a pinch to make almost anything with it from potato soup, hash, breakfast casserole, burritos (breakfast or regular with potatoes, meat, veggies) or just some plain ol country style pan fried taters n onions.
I use these for a ham, potato casserole. I used my leftover Easter ham %26 it turned out great.
I like the Walmart idea for delivery and curbside pickup. Yesterday, my order was delivered timely. When I put the groceries away I noticed the potatoes were not in any bag. While this represented $2.35 of the order, its not the first time this occurred. My first delivery lacked a loaf of bread. Again, it was $1.00, but we were forced to go back to the store to purchase the bread. My last curbside order was shorted $18 if products and we were forced to go back to the store. I am still a fan of both services. I recommend inspecting your order asap. Walmart replaced the items without question. JC
I liked that they were low in sodium, but I'm not a fan of these at all. They appeared to be chopped up crinkle-cut french fries, not cubed potatoes like one would expect for southern hash browns. They stayed so mushy, I had to fry them until they shrank up. Very underwhelming.
Bought on 1/13/2024, this expired on 12/29/2023. They had a smell and i had to throw them out
I ordered Southern hash browns but received shredded potatoes. they're not exactly what I wanted but I'll make them work and this app will not let me load a picture
This package of hashbrowns is supposed to be 32 ounces. When I picked it up, I immediately felt like it was too late. I pulled out the scale to weigh it and it is 11 ounces shy of the 32 ounces. So basically 35% less that I paid for.
This week they changed. No more "southern style" diced potatoes. They are so tiny now. Taste like crap and harder to cook up. if you want a crisp on them they are just hard. No more crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. There is no inside. Please Please Please bring them back the way they were. If you don't well then you need to take off the southern style and just put petite diced because nothing "Southern Style" here. I think they are so tiny that petite is really too big of a discription. wont be buying these again. Yummy and easy before the change. Now Horrible!!! You ruined a good thing. I bought them a lot. Made a Breakfast casserole every week for some elderly in my neighboorhood. Now it's back to cutting potatoes myself. Goes without saying, I hate the change.
