I love this product, and I use it all the time in my coffee. However, I do not like the pouring spout. I only add a little milk to my coffee. When the carton is full, the milk dribbles down the side when I pour. When I screw on the cap, I always have to wipe away milk that collects around the opening. I almost wish there was no spout and it was opened like the old containers. If you could redesign the spout to pour better, I would give this product 5 stars.
I need to know what happened to the Fat Free Half & Half...It's my only indulgence, although it is twice as much sometimes compared to other half & half's I still pay it. And actually this is the first time I have sought out an answer to why something is not right. For about a month or so my coffee has been taking twice as much creamer and never really getting to that wonderful Carmel color that I love. I am a huge iced and hot coffee drinker. I'm actually going today to buy my own cream and make my own...but it will definitely not be the same as Land o Lakes...My family can not believe how distraught I am over my coffee. :( I'm also attaching a picture of the date and what I assume will be a code of some sorts...lol
I opened the Land o Lakes Fat Free half a nd half this morning. As I poured it in my coffee , I looked at the pour spout and found chunks clogging the opening. This was bought from a different store than usual. What the heck! This makes 4 quarts like this. Please advise.
I have used your fat-free 12/ & 1/2 for years. It's true, the new cartons (also changed) are containing watered down product. I found an older carton in the midst of the changes and it was the same old good product, but it must have been one of the last of the old product. I'm really disappointed and will not be purchasing Land O'Lakes fat-free 1/2 and 1/2 any longer. Too bad- it was a good product!
I actually went online this morning to see if there was a recipe change because no matter how much of this creamer I put in my coffee wasn't getting any lighter. After seeing others were experiencing the same after years of use, I thought it best to report it as well. I hope this gets rectified soon.
I've been using this product for YEARS. I opened a new carton today and it's just like skim milk, not creamy at all. That's what brought me to this site. I don't believe it's the same product, the proof is in my cup of coffee. Please fix whatever problem is going on with this.
I am a great fan of Land o Lakes products BUT... I just threw out the container of fat free half and half I bought last week. I thought this couldn't be happening to the BEST FAT FREE HALF AND HALF I've ever enjoyed adding to my am coffee. It was like skim milk! WHAT HAPPENED!
My wife and I love this product and have used it for years. Serve it to friends. We go through a container a week. but just opened one (in a slightly different package??) that is like skim milk. Please tell me you did not change your recipe!!
I the past week I have experienced the same chunky issues as the other posts
Have bought this product for MANY YEARS! Apparently, the recipe has majorly changed in a bad way. The half and half is watery, will not lighten up your tea or coffee, and a thick cottage cheese like substance will sit at the bottom of the carton. Very disappointed, and will not be buying this product any longer unless it is changed back to the original formula. This has been ongoing for about 6 weeks now.
