my family are all Filipino. Many Asians are lactose intolerant and this is a great substitute. My husband loves it while I prefer almond milk.
I wasn't raised with either health consciousness or anti-cruelty in mind. When I became an adult and the more I learned in general, I wanted veeeery different things! Just one problem- those formative years had instilled tastes and preferences in me. I tried soy milk several times and, frankly, tap water or nothing at all would be better! I swore it off for years until I started hanging out with more vegetarians. I refused and refused until they made me try Silk. Okay, bunny trail. Long story short, I discovered this: people who were raised on udder/mammary milk don't usually take to just any brand of soy milk. The three that I've found quite pleasing are Silk, Sun Soy and 8th Continent, depending on what region of the country you're in. Around SWMO it's just the Silk that's available. All of the flavors are great, it can be used for almost everything cow's milk can be used for (except pudding. It doesn't really seem to set) and no need to imagine the wretched living conditions most animals endure when used for consumption. But you should still donate to PETA's Investigation and Rescues Fund, even if you switch to soy milk. Ijs.
I have been using soymilk for years because regular milk bothers my stomach. I like the vanilla, I have never tried the original soy because I don't think I would like the taste. I use it on my cereal in the morning for breakfast. It is a healthy substitution if you really can't tolerate regular dairy milk. It taste great and I am very picky about how things taste. Give it a try you might just like it.

I love this milk just plain out of the carton. The milk is so creamy, the vanilla is spot on and it's delicious! The packaging is beautiful and bold. I love how this doesn't upset my stomach and I can drink a lot without issues. This is a must-have in my home!!

the milk arrived open, and a part of its container dirty or with fungus is disgusting, they should hire people who choose items in good condition
