Excellent but pricy but so far best foldable phone out there. Had the Samsung and after couple of months of folding screen cracked , Samsung foldable phone too fragile and Samsung does not like covering anything on this phone under warranty. I had tested this phone since last year before it went on sale and I was impressed with how well it holds up, used it as a trial for over 4 months screen held up and it's just right fits in pocket, very versatile phone. For most of you out there leaving bad reviews about this phone you really haven't tried it . So if you are not a Verizon customer and can't afford this phone keep you fake reviews to yourself, so far this is the best most practical FLIP SMART phone out there today that I have ever tested and gladly bought.
My Razr - My new "selfy-mate"!!! It's the battle of the flip phones! First up to bat is the Motorola Razr sold at Wal-Mart and Verizon exclusively and priced at $1,500. Then Samsung's Z Flip is announced a few days later for $1,400 and then later offered at $1,380... when I heard this it got me thinking. But when the number 2 cellphone supplier in the World introduces it's flagship phone people stop and listen! So being a loyal Samsung user since the Note 4, I waited until they released more Info on the Z Flip. I watched the youtube reviews and heard from the critics then I made my decision. "It's specks are top-notch, it's the world's first folding ("glass") phone and all the influencers who's "unbiased" opinions are "not for sale" but said they truly evaluated the two phones and recommended the samsung... I brought the Motorola Razr! Why? You ask.. Because why would Samsung make a "Statement" phone like the z flip with a Rocket Fast Chip, give it a Top-Notch Hinge, claiming to have "Folding Glass" inside, then get a designer to endorse the phone with his signature and reputation at stake... and then cut its price twice to steal the thunder of a less functional phone? This is a desperate cry for attention by Samsung! They tried to make it look like they were giving you the best for less! But.. they were beat to the market by motorola, Razr beat z flip with the best style and design of a Game Changing Phone and they did it while only selling exclusively! The Samsung Z Flip is on sell everywhere! I think you can even but it at McDonald's! This proves that the Razr once again IS a statement phone for influencers everywhere! I gladly paid the higher price to be exclusive! What's in your pocket?! A boring, Square box that looks like a copy of a White Castle slider (Square Burgers) and the price scheme to match (Cheaper than the competition!) and don't bother checking the outside screen for Anything without a magnifyer!! Or a True "OG" Original Gear from back in the day, updated for 2020 and shaped like the letter "L" for Living Large! Lwj.. by km
The new Motorola Razr is just a marvelous example on design innovation - taking a brand new technology (Foldable OLED Display) and integrating it into something people need (something new in a very mundane and boring "black rectangle" Smart Phone market).
Save your money for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. Same form factor with high end specs, better technology, and a cheaper price tag. Due to be announced tomorrow, the 11th, and go on sale Friday, February 14th.
I advise people to reconsider. There are a lot of tests with different kinds of issues, the concept is great but not the money.
Had to have the pink razr back im ghe day. Was the worst phone i ever owned! Would not be wanting to revisit that mistake!
low end specs high end price
overpriced phone with ancient technology
specs of $300 phone, Nostalgia doesn't afford a premium price higher than the best phones on the market. EPIC FAIL MOTOROLA!
If this is what they are coming out with to compete against the top Samsung and iPhone products they should fire whoever came up with this god awful idea... The Razr was great when it came out and it was a much simpler time. In 2020 everyone should just point and laugh at this and anyone who actually buys this trash
