[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Grow With You ClickTight Harness-to-Booster Car Seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a just-turned-three year old, and she sits forward facing in a harness car seat. I love that this seat is easy for her to get into by herself and she can even put the straps around her shoulders (I clip and tighten them). She also has room for her little toys she inevitably brings on every car ride AND her snacks and water bottle. This is the best and easiest car seat to adjust and install. The headrest adjustment made it so easy to change when I had to carpool with my older daughter's friend. The next day I easily switched it back for my three year old. Installation is basically four steps, open the seat, buckle the seatbelt, close the seat, clip the anchor. It's heavy (which I feel like it's safer), but once it's in the car, it's really, really simple. I like the fabric of this seat, and mine has a (faux) leather detail, making it look a bit more high end. Also, because the fabric is removeable and washable, I'm not so worried about spills but more importantly, car sickness! Finally, when my daughter is big enough for a high back booster, I can continue to use this seat because it converts to one. I like that I can tuck the harness straps in and not have to worry about finding another seat for her. I love this seat and would absolutely recommend to anyone whose child is big enough for a forward facing car seat.
We received the Britax Grow with You ClickTight Harness-2-Booster for free in exchange for my honest review just days before we were taking a long trip to the beach, thanks to Britax and the weeSpring parent panel. When I first took it out of the box I noticed the high quality fabrics and slim design of this seat. This seat was being installed in the third row seat of a 2019 Honda Odyssey. This is our first ClickTight Britax seat and prior to this seat we have used another well-known brand that has been known for easy installation. However, this seat was simply amazing to install! I had absolutely no trouble getting a solid fit within seconds with the seat belt. Clicktight is in the name but I never imagined how easy and user friendly the install would be. This seat has a steel frame so it was a little heavy and difficult to get into the third row. We ended up having to go through our trunk space to the third row. This typically isn't an issue for us because once our seats are in we don't move them around too often. My petite six-year-old daughter immediately hopped into the seat upon install and instantly she preferred this seat. She commented on how comfortable the seat is and how it makes her feel like a big kid. She liked the cup holders and arm rests. It was easy to adjust to her height. We drove all the way down to the beach with no complaints and in fact she was raving about the comfort of the seat. At one point we had to switch the seats around at the beach. This seat was so easy to uninstall and reinstall. This time on a captains chair in the middle row. Again we had to go through the trunk space to get the seat out of the vehicle but then it was easy to install in the captains chair. We have had this seat a few weeks now and it's been installed and uninstalled several times with ease. My daughter still talks about this seat and how much she loves it and prefers it to her previously used seat. We have three children and have owned many, many, many brand name car seats and this is my favorite. We absolutely love this seat. Pros: Easy installation, soft fabric, comfort, easy to adjust, more of a big kid feel than a child seat. Cons: It's a bit heavy and long, which is really only a complaint when trying to install in a third row. We don't typically move our seats around so much so it's not a problem for us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Britax is my favorite brand of car seats and this one did not disappoint. I love the plush black material and classy brown vegan leather accents. This seat seems very safe and sturdy, which is clearly the most important aspect of a car seat. I love the click tight installation as I always feel that it is installed securely. I did have a little difficulty figuring out how to open the seat, but it only took about 5 minutes. Once opened- I threaded the seat belt through and it was installed in less than 5 minutes. The removable fabric is great especially given the life of these seats, my messy children and how many snacks are consumed in the car. I am currently using it with the harness which was quite easy to adjust the correct height by squeezing the headrest and lifting. My child is 5 years old and about 42 lbs. I am looking forward to using it with a seat belt and love that is has the seat belt guide to ensure proper fitting. The large side head rests will protect his head and help when he does fall asleep. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Grow With You ClickTight Harness-to-Booster Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and have been extremely pleased with how easy the seat has been use. My favorite features of the seat are how easy it is to get my child in and out of the seat. They are even able to get into it themselves by using the large arm rests to pull up into the seat which is very helpful. I also like that the shoulder pads are attached to the shoulder rests which makes adjusting the straps really easy and always keeps them at the right height. The base of the seat is very open which makes it easy to clean out and it looks like a real car seat which my 3-year-old loves. The seat uses a very standard process for installing and was overall easy to install and adjust. If I could improve one thing on the car seat it would be that the seat belt notch/path for forward facing install had a deeper pockets, which would help hold the seat belt in place when installing. However, this is minor and the install instructions were clear, so install only takes a couple of minutes out of the box. Finally, both myself and my kids like that the seat has two cup holders and small cubbies for car toys! Overall, I would highly recommend this car seat and plan to use it for years to come.

When the seat arrived, its packaging was well thought. Sturdy cardboard, was formed around the seat, not just a rectangular box which I appreciate and found eco-friendly. It was like a little treat when we opened the box. The camel colored perforated vegan leather really gave it a high end feel. I love that the fabric is machine washable. I do periodically wash all the car seat covers and am really pleased that the vegan leather won't be ruined. It is a little heavier so best to have someone help load it in the car, if needed of course. This seat is easily installed, much easier than other brands we own. Any adult will have a simple time with securing it to the seat with the genius clicktight design. My 4 year old is about 43 inches tall, 38lbs and he fits comfortably. Comfortable being an understatement. Britax designed this really well! Four cup holders, yes we needed 4, water bottle and snacks fit perfectly. There are 3 things that really stood out to me, the arm rest, belly pad, and silicon chest straps. The arm rest is well placed and sturdy. It has silicon or rubber so it's slip resistant. Giving my little guy a comfortable position while using electronics or reading a book. The belly pad is thick and comfortable when securing his buckle, it's also removable for safe washing. Little details, the sliding silicon chest strap thing, how come everyone doesn't have that?! It keeps the straps in place and doesn't slip off narrow, tiny children. We love this britax branded harness to booster seat. In fact my husband, who's not one to swoon over items like these, he told me to get a harness to booster for all of our kids. THAT is really saying something about the quality of a product! Get one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many things to like about Britax seats! The ClickTight mechanism makes installation a beeeze. My daughter (5yrs) was riding in a Britax One4Life when I received the Britax Grow With You ClickTight Plus Harness to Booster seat to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. She reports that the seat is very comfortable, and she likes the arm rests. I noticed that the padding seems less substantial than on the all-in-one seat, but my daughter says it isn't less comfortable, though we haven't made any extended drives since receiving the seat. The general shape seems to be designed well for older kiddos. My daughter is on the smaller side for her age, but I can tell the seat would fit an bigger child well, and would fit the bill for a kiddo not wanting a seat that would appear “baby-ish.” It does sit a bit lower in the car, but my daughter hasn't complained about a restricted view. The fabrics are very nice and definitely have a more premium appearance. The straps are easy to adjust, both to raise/lower for height and to loosen/tighten (we loosen and re-tighten the straps with each use of the seat, so it it important that the harness adjuster is easily accessible, which it is). My daughter said she likes the rubbery harness pad (which surrounds the chest clip), which her other seat does not have. Finally, the seat is less cumbersome (lighter, slimmer) than a typical all-in-one seat, which is definitely a plus, especially if you will be needing to move the seat from car to car at all. However, even with its smaller footprint and lighter weight, the seat does not feel like it sacrifices safety. Overall, I think the Grow With You ClickTight Plus is a great seat for a growing kid, ready to move on to more of a big kid seat.
This Grow with You Clicktight Harness-2-Booster car seat is the 3rd Britax I own. The two others I have are the Frontier and the Pinnacle, but I've had my eye on the Spark fabric when it came out a few years ago and I'm so happy that I got it. With that said, I've decided to focus this review on the differences between the Frontier and Grow with You since they're similar carseats and I would be what I would personally want to know this information. I got the specs directly from the Britax website. 1) Grow with You Harness max is 25-65lbs -- Frontier Harness max is 25-90lbs. (25lbs more for Frontier) If your kid is a little on the heavier side or has special needs that require him/her to be in a harness carseat for longer than usual, the Frontier would be the better choice. The average 8 year old is around 60lbs and would most likely be using it in booster mode by that time so the weight limit would not be a limiting factor for most families. 2) Grow with You Standing Height Forward Facing Harness (FFH) is 30"- 49" -- Frontier Standing Height FFH is 30"- 58." (9" inches taller for Frontier) Once again, if you need to harness your child for a longer period of time (especially if your kid is super tall for their age), the Frontier would be a better choice. Then again, an average 8 year old is around 50" so if you don't need to harness until that age, either car seat would be a good choice. 3) Grow with You Standing Height Booster (SHB) is 45-63" -- Frontier (SHB) is 45-62." (1" taller for Grow with You). Not sure why there is an 1" difference because all the other specs are the same. By the time kids are the max height, they will be able to sit without a booster and the seatbelt would rest at the right place on their shoulder. 4) Grow with You is 26.5lbs -- Frontier is 25lbs. (1.5 lbs heavier for Grow with You) Both carseats are heavy, but I found it pretty easy to move either one if you hold it at the armrests. 5) Grow with You Spark fabric is much, much nicer than the Frontier. It has a lot more cushion and a feels much nicer on the skin...much like your favorite sweatshirt. It also feels a little cooler than the Frontier when it's been sitting in a car when it's 100 degrees outside. With that said...it also shows more dirt since it's a lighter gray and messes don't really wipe off as easily. Frontier's fabric is pretty easy to wipe clean, but it's not as breathable. I haven't taken any of the covers off to wash and replace yet. Overall, you really can't go wrong with either carseat. I would pick the Grow with You over the Frontier because I really do like the Spark fabric a lot and the max height or weight would not be an issue for my family. My kids also like the Grow with You a lot more and will fight over who gets to sit in it when we get in the car. I also love how easily the harness adjusts so any kid (ages 2+ and 25+lbs) can sit in the seat. The Clicktight makes it super easy to install, but I will have to note that my husband had to be shown at least 3 times how to install this car seat before he understood how it worked. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this seat! My son is 4, almost 5, and weighs 40 pounds. The installation was a breeze with the click-tight system. We have owned two other Britax convertible car seats with click-tight and there's nothing that compares. When we install the seat I know my son is safe because of how secure the seat is. An added bonus is that the seat reclines making it feel a bit more comfortable for my son in long trips. The seat itself is gorgeous. I love the faux leather accents and the black material is amazing. It's soft yet durable and it doesn't overheat in the sun! It's also incredibly easy to keep clean and wash. And my son keeps talking about how comfortable it is! I was also pleased with how the straps stay out of the way when my son gets in and out of the seat. The shoulder straps pads also have a strap that connects the two behind the padding. I love this as I don't have to worry about shoulder pads sliding down. The car seat has it all - safety, looks, comfort, easy to clean, durable materials. You can't go wrong with seat. I'm excited to see how it grows with son as he gets older. My daughter just moved into the range to be able to use a forward facing seat so we were looking for options of what to get and then we got this seat. One of the most stressful parts about getting a new car seat is having to set it up and install in the car. This car seat left me speechless! It was so easy and simple. You release the bottom, put the seat belt through and click it back down 1, 2, 3! The covers come off easily for cleaning which is a huge plus. When your kid gets sick or spills on the seat you have to figure out how you're going to clean it or fight with all the belts to get it off. This seat, it just slips off for easy cleaning. It was very easy to adjust and have my daughter sit comfortably and safely and she was beyond excited to be able to see out the front. I also like having double cup holders for a snack and a drink to keep your child entertained and fed. Favorite feature for sure is the ease of install! You can't compare an easy to install seat and a tough one. Great job Britax and thank you Stellar Panel for letting me try it out!
I have been purchasing britax car seats for 6 years now, they were my go to brand. I recently upgraded my twins to the grow with me boosters. I haven't even installed them in the car yet and I noticed a piece was broken. The process to adjust the crotch buckle is poorly planned out. You have to unclip very flimsy, very cheap plastic clips that are holding the fabric on the seat. One of those clips snapped when removing, using the exact instructions in the manual. Why would you choose to use such a cheap design in an excellent rated, and one of the more expensive car seat options out there??
