Love all the different functions, got it for a friend's newborn, works like a charm. Almost like a spa. Spa for babies. Must need for newborns. Definitely worth it.
I am having a new baby in 3 days! I thought this would be a good idea to put in his room. I like that I can use it as a night light on the ceiling and it has the sounds to calm baby down. I tried it out and it's pretty neat and inthink he will love it.
we started out with one 6yr ago. then two more for each room in the house. will buy one more to take with us on vacations because i don't want to break the other three. struggle to sleep without it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MyBaby soundspa lullaby is the perfect white noise machine for my baby, she sleeps and relaxes a lot listening to the different sounds, she loves it. It's a Great White Sound Machine, it s small and compact, it's easy to transport. The color is perfect because it combines very well in any room. This comes in a box with a nice design, includes a cable to connect and it's very easy to use. This beautiful white sound machine has several sounds and my girl's favorite is twinkle twinkle and ocean, and you can adjust the volume as needed. We were very caught by the disc that projects images on the ceiling, you can graduate if you want it brighter or less. The images are beautiful. I definitely recommend this
I bought this for my baby but my 3 year old liked the picture projection and music options so it's now in his room. Good price for a basic sound machine, especially since I had a $5 off coupon.
I reviewed this product because I wanted to use it and to see if my grand-daughter rested better, and she does. She looks up at the ceiling with the projection in a soft glow. Along with the sounds, she rests much better. The soothing sounds are Twinkle, Twinkle, Rock-a-Bye, Ocean Waves, Cradle Song, Gentle Rain, and Heartbeat. The My baby SoundSpa Lullaby by Homedics also includes a removable image disc with Three Scenes, Farm animals, Underwater Creatures, and Stars and Moon. There is a timer also included on the My baby SoundSpa Lullaby by Homedics in 15, 30, 45 increments and one hour. There is also a volume selector. This is an excellent alternative when your baby is sleeping by blocking sounds. My grand-daughter seems to sleep much better with the My baby SoundSpa Lullaby by Homedics. This runs on electricity.
I received this HoMedics Mybaby SoundSpa Lullaby and it was a nice addition to our baby's room. There are quite a few features that I really like. I love that there are different sounds to pick from because...well, you just never know what you might need to help soothe a baby...or any child. My big kids love to listen to the ocean and rain while our newborn does best with the heartbeat sound. The timer is another great feature and ranges from 15min to 1hr. Its nice because I don't have to tip toe back into the nursery to turn it off. So overall, the sound options and timer are my favorite features. It also projects images. It rotates between three different images. If the top is removed there are more options that the dial can be turned to. I would have loved if it would automatically go through all the images but it still works great. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. It would make a great baby gift for families getting ready to welcome a baby or small child.
So far I love this product, and so does my baby. The only thing I don't like is there is not an off button. You have to flip through all the sounds to get it to turn off, or set it on a sleep timer which is kind of annoying. It would be awesome if they added other discs to add so you have other sounds and images. For the price it does the job, and helps calm cranky babies.
Greatest feature is the assortment of sounds and portability. The device is small and compact enough to simply plug and play. However the farm animal frames were a bit disappointing because my child finds them repetitive and limited. She wants more lights to cover the ceiling to go with her beach sounds at night!
Before buying this we have been through 2 of the munchkin sound machine/projectors, but the sound went out on both of them after a period of time so, although I absolutely loved them, i decided to try a different brand to see if the quality is better. Seems like good quality so far, however the projector is not what I expected. Rather than a rotating image, it just displays one single image at a time. My kids still seem to enjoy it but I liked the munchkin version better. I also feel that the sound quality of this one is not as great as the munchkin, however, the sound hasn't gone out yet so it's winning in that department so far, only had it a few days so far. All in all I think it's a nice product and I would recommend it to others as a nice sound machine for babies/toddlers.
