Got this case for new phone one month ago. Was worried about it being thinner and not being as "beefy" as the defender series. I am happy with it so far. My son watches my phone when we grocery shop to keep him busy and has dropped it a couple of times, and phone and case show no sign of damage. Very happy.
The case is great but a little pricey. Should be in the $30 range.
Feels very good in the hands and makes my iPhone look nice and clean.
This case is well made with an excellent design. It functionally easy to use , lightweight and compact. I've purchased Otterbox items before and they have always been of highest quality.
I cheated, i got other case for my phone, from other brand, and i regret it honestly. I spent same amount as otterbox but quality was nowhere near as otterbox . Lesson learned, never again, will get only otterbox cases no matter what device i will get. Hands down this is the best company.
I bought a couple weeks ago and it seems to hold up the the big 12 pro max iPhone but it would be nice if it had a cover for the plug in so I don't have to pick out dust every other day
Really like the Earl Gray case. It has a greenish hue to it. It took me a few days to get used to the new phone plus the case and it felt kind of slipper in my hand at first, but I am glad I kept it! Phone feels protected! I have been using Otterbox for three years now and they have all held up great.
I'm a long time Otterbox fan. To the point in which I haven't owned any other type of phone case in years. I recently upgraded my phone to an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I've owned other max/pro sized models before and had a symmetry case on them. This case feels thinner and less durable. the rubber around the charging port is malleable and prone to tear. I'm disappointed because I trust Otterbox, but I feel like the quality of this series of cases is questionable.
I have been a loyal otterbox advocate and have noticed in the most recent years that the commuter series seems so cheap. The case easily scratches and feels as if it does not protect the device.
I bought this because I was told it was the case I needed for my wireless charger to work. It doesn't this is after I bought the symmetry with pop lock which also didn't work. So now I have 2 otter box cases that were recommended by otter box that don't work. So no I don't recommend if you intend to use the apple wireless charger.
