Works very well - I recommend turning the collision detection to its highest setting - its hyper sensitive. The best part of this cam is the very welcome fact that no PHOOOOOONNE is required to operate or to set it up.
Works great, we have one in every road going vehicle we have. It is small so can be mostly hidden behind the rear view mirror. Picture quality is very good. Must make changes to settings on PC, but that is no big deal and rarely needs to be done unless you download your video.
Hard wiring is not as hard as it may seem. Hiding the wires was a little harder.
I have had the F770, front and rear, cameras for 4 years. They both work well. The software is easy to use (I am not very techy). The product support has been good when I used it via live telephone chat. The camera video has been useful several times including a contested vehicle accident in which the other person was found to have been at fault. John in Portland, Oregon
The F70 came before the promised date. I had separately bought a 64 GB mini card instead of the 8 GB as I wanted 8 hours of recording. I installed the camera the next day using the OBD ll cable that I had also bought. I wanted a completely hidden installation. Their support department has been great.
Actually own a similar model, the F770. System has worked problem free since install. Using front and rear cameras on a 2017 Tacoma. The video quality is unmatched. I'd also like to add my interaction with their customer support team has always been friendly and efficient. I would not hesitate to buy/use any of their products or recommend to friends and family. Great camera, it is small in size. It can detect when you might be in an accident which is nice. Discreet and hides behind rearview mirror. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is it is next to impossible to take the mount off your window to transfer to a new car, but overall great purchase.
Great dash cam for the money. Only wish it had wifi so you could view the recording if needed in emergency such as a wreck. Still a great dash cam
Positive comments: I love the size and the quality of the video. It came with ample length of power cord. I like the idea of the vendor including a memory card. I also think this camera is a great value. Minor suggestions listed below. The instructions do not include information on how to set the date and time. The camera doesn't have a video screen to show any of the files recorded. Maybe it could be accessed by a phone app to review a file, at an accident scene or show to a policeman. I would like to have a switch, on the power cord, to turn of the power quickly and easily right on the cigarette plug. This would be in sted of pulling the plug out of the Cig port. I would also like to have more than a one minute loop on the files. Maybe a 3-5 minute loop option.
Mine didnt work. Must have got a lemon.
