I am very happy about the change over to cornstarch. I tried to find out what scent is in it to no avail. I am sure I can smell violets.Anyway I love it.
I like this powder it does what I want it to do
Unfortunately kids can't tell you there's a difference in brands. So it wasn't until I started needing to use baby powder as an adult that I discovered there is a difference. The difference is incredible and I plan to use only Johnson Baby Powder for the rest of my life. Johnson Baby Powder gives me that dry feeling all through the night. Thank you!
I bought this only because my original J&J was out if stock ( og pink one ). My goodness, awful, awful!!! I got a super itchy rash that I couldnt figure out from what. I finally realized it was this powder! The rash cleared up after stopping use completely and 48hrs of antibiotic cream/disinfectant rinses. Please check out your formula, something is absolutely wrong!!!
This was one of the few powders I had found that we could use without me getting sick from the smell. The last one I bought though is horrible. The ingredients are different so I know the formula changed. The scent makes this unusable for me. So frustrating and highly disappointing.
I cannot believe after over 20 years of using the Pure cornstarch with soothing Aloe and Vitamin E that Johnson's would think it's great idea to change to product. The new version which seemed to come with a new label absolutely is terrrible!!!! I have used this on my groan area to keep dry and fresh and have always been supper happy. The "new" stuff with different ingredients is now causing me to not feel dry and fresh and has actually given me pain from a rash of some sorts. I had some of the old in a travel bottle and went to using that and the rash went away and I felt great again. Bring back the old product with the ingredients : Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Tricalcium Phosphate, Fragrance (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E)). Also the new the product consistency isn't as good either. It seems to plug the holes on the lid easily and it doesn't cover the body quite the same either. I can't say enough how terrible the new version is over the previous. Bring back the old PLEASE!!!
This is nothing like the old formula, it is terrible does not do the job. Why did they change the formula???!!!???
It does not help keep moisture away like the old formula. I have been in extreme discomfort ever since. Can someone help me out getting the old formula back?
I wish this company never discontinued the talc version of this product but I understand the circumstances, however if there was any possible way you guys could just simply BRING BACK THE OLD SCENT with the new product, myself and many other customers would return to using your baby powder. Sales would skyrocket because nothing will ever beat the original scent of Johnson's baby powder.
I, like many women who live in a humid climate, have a hard time staying cool and dry. I purchased this powder because it contained aloe and vitamin E. What I did not realize is that cornstarch can be dangerous for women. After using this powder I developed an extremely painful skin rash that my doctor diagnosed as a fungal (external yeast) infection. She asked if I was using a cornstarch based powder because cornstarch is food for the yeast. I checked the label when I got home and sure enough - it was cornstarch. I hope Johnson and other companies will consider trying to educate the public on the risk of this type of powder.
