Our son is 6 and was potty trained at night starting at age 4. At age 5, we moved to a brand new state, a cold one at that, new home and were expecting a new baby! His potty training at night turned into a nightmare! After about a year and a half, we finally gave in and tried the Chummie Bed Wetting alarm and it worked like a charm! It took him about a month to go from bed wetting to not bed wetting. I would highly recommend this product. No more changing underwear, sheets and tears at night!
We tried two different medications prescribed by a doctor without any results. The doctor mentioned trying a bed alarm. After one week my daughter was dry throughout the night. The only recommendation I would of liked to see in the directions is that the sensor needs to be placed farther down for a girl, but we quickly figured it out.
We tried multiple treatments and read up tons of resources to help my son stop bedwetting, with no results. However Chummie was the only product that worked. By far the best product for children who wet the bed. This bedwetting alarm has helped my son and in just a few weeks he has gone from bedwetting 7 times a week to every other day. The progress has been spectacular and I am impressed. Just last night, he had his 9th dry night. In a week, he will stop bedwetting permanently. It is very easy to setup and very convenient. I would recommend this alarm to amy one who has a bedwetting child.
My 8 year old son stopped wetting the bed with this Chummie Alarm in just about a few weeks. I can't tell you how glad I am. This product is impressive and results are really fast driven. Even though he is a deep sleeper chummie managed to wake him up. He is now been sleeping dry for a few weeks now. I would most definitely recommend this product to family and friends as the best solution to overcome nighttime bedwetting permanently.
Chummie works! One of my sons only needed it for a week and was dry!! My other son is a very deep sleeper and it will likely take a lot longer, but it helps! I only wish I had purchased it a lot sooner!
My little one has special needs. She's come a long way with her toileting, but this alarm has really made it easier for her to get up to visit the bathroom. Every night her pull ups were soaked in pee and she would feel sad and confidence low. In the early stages I would get up every time when the alarm beeped to make her go to the bathroom but now nearly after four months she has got trained and gets up on her own. We are positive about her being totally independent within very short period of time.
This bed-wetting alarm is highly recommended for parents with a bed-wetting child. We purchased the Chummie alarm and were skeptical about it at first. A few weeks into using the alarm, my son woke up in a wet bed. We were so pleased that he responded to bed-wetting. Then as a few weeks went by, he had his first dry nights. This product is helping our son achieve more dry nights but it seems like it was the most effective in the beginning. Somehow, into the 2nd week, & now 3rd, he's starting to sleep through the alarm. I feel terrible for him, this has been a constant struggle his entire life. He's almost 13. I was a bedwetter all through my teens. It was a huge blow to my self confidence and it is heartbreaking to see him go through it now. We are not going to give up on the product or the goal of achieving dry nights, permanently. This product is the best tool we have and I recommend it for anyone going through this challenge. We just have to figure out how to work through his comatose level of sleep in order to push through.
The alarm works well. Goes off when wet, problem is it doesn't wake up my child. I can hear it a room away so can act on that. The receiver part is smaller than expected. Child didn't like wearing it on her collar, we cut off a sock and attached it on her arm. We are using double underwear as well instead of the provided stickers. Still got my hopes up it will work, we are on week 2. Most of the times it goes off before bedwetting and once after she wetted the bed.
