Strollers are a very difficult baby item for my family. I have t-rex arms and am 5'8", so it makes pushing strollers an adventure. When we were first pregnant, and started to shop for strollers, it was so difficult to find one that we did not kick with our feet when pushing the stroller. I was only able to find two that allowed me to have a normal walking stride while pushing (thereby avoiding a bumpy ride for my sweet baby). My child is a tall giant at 2.5 years old (38" tall, 38 pounds) and this stroller is by far the most comfortable stroller she has sat in. The seating was very easy to configure, and her favorite was having a snack bar for her water cup, her snacks, and her small baby to ride with her. It's a deep seat and the leg level is adjustable so her feet were never just hanging. She was very enthusiastic about walks around the neighborhood in her new ride. The sun shade is very well designed-it comes out to the level of the snack cup so my child could fall asleep and never have the sun shining in her face. I loved many things about this stroller-the height of the handle, the deep basket for storage, the sun shade. I love the adaptability of putting a second seat in the stroller. The bassinet mode would be a lifesaver at the newborn stage. The only negative about this stroller is the folding and unfolding feature. It's a 'push a button and squeeze a handle' in the same motion, and it is by far the least graceful thing about this stroller. I would replace my other strollers in a heart beat with this one if the folding was accomplished in one smooth motion. I also couldn't get it to fold as flat as I would have liked in my trunk. Because I have a toddler, our preferred seating configuration was facing forward. I really like that the seat can be facing the parent at younger ages too. This stroller works great with different parental heights too-my sister is 5'5" and thought it was the perfect height for her to push. The weeSpring Parent Panel sent me this stroller for my unbiased opinion.
I received this stroller as part of the weeSpring parent panel and I can not say enough good things about it! I have a 2-year-old toddler and a newborn, and this stroller is perfect, especially for going on daily walks. The infant bassinet is amazingly easy to use when I turned the stroller into bassinet mode while my toddler sits comfortably in his own seat. It's very convenient on how it becomes a double stroller and it is a huge plus when I don't need to purchase extra adaptors. We have been using the stroller for walks around the neighborhood and the large canopy provides plenty of shade when it's too sunny. My toddler loves the tray since it can be filled with snacks and I also have a tray for myself which is a huge win for me! What I also like about this particular stroller is the fact that it can stand on its own when I fold it so I don't have to worry about the handlebars touching the dirty ground. The only negative aspect about this stroller is that I lose the basket space when I use it as a double stroller, but it's not a huge problem as I always wear a backpack. Definitely recommend it for toddlers and a newborn!
This Graco Modes2grow stroller is definitely one you need to check out if you expecting and plan to have more than one child. It's perfect to use as a single stroller than easily converts to a double or can be used for twins! We registered for an inexpensive travel system, but we didn't think about needing yet another stroller when we plan to expand our family. Don't make the same mistake I did and buy one that can convert into a double! It does come in pieces so be prepared to do a little work to get it together, but it didn't take long at all and the instructional pictures are very helpful. First thoughts, I love the color, it's such a classic looking stroller, and it is big! The storage basket is very large so much so that my toddler laid in it. While it does fold up like most strollers, it is very tall so it took up most of the trunk space in our midsize SUV. This is not a stroller we could take on vacation where we would need to pack suitcases in our trunk as well, but perfect to run errands, use for walks, and going on day trips. I'm probably going to sell our previous travel system and purchase a Graco car seat to use with this stroller. My toddler loved sitting and riding in this stroller. As soon as it was put together, my toddler climbed in and loved laying flat (bassinet mode). It was easy to unbuckle in the back to transfer to bassinet mode or allow a tired toddler to lay down. He even started to watch a movie in it. I love the extended canopy for sunny days. One of my favorite features is the fact that it's one stroller but it can be a double without having to purchase another stroller. I also like that it's front and back and not a side by side double stroller so no need to worry about not fitting through a doorway. This stroller has 4 large wheels which makes it easy to navigate turns and even going through snow. A bonus was the back wheels were covered so when we walked in the snow or if you happened to get caught in the rain, you aren't getting splashed with water from the wheels. Another feature I liked is that although most toddlers like facing out I have the option to turn the toddler part around and have him face me while we are on a walk or running errands. I'm short about 5'2 and handle is taller and isn't adjustable but it wasn't an issue when I was using it. The parent cup holder and console were a perfect size! I could fit my large insulated cup in the cup holder and my large phone in the compartments. In the specs of this stroller it states easy one hand folding with or without the bassinet. Yes it can be folded with or without the bassinet but I felt I needed to use two hands to avoid it tipping in the wrong direction because it is so tall even when folded. Finally, when looking at this stroller and other similar strollers, I would pick this one based on all the above and the price point. It's a great buy for the price! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Stroller!
This stroller definitely lives up to its name Modes2grow. The functionality to use from infant to toddler to even 2 kids (infant & toddler) is a great idea. Although, I do not have 2 kids or an infant, my review is based on just the stroller (toddler). I was given this Stroller to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. One of the great features this stroller has is the one hand self standing fold, it makes it so much easier to not have to lay it down (helps with your back), although using one hand was a little hard, using both hands came with ease. You can position the seat to be rear or forward facing which is great (my daughter enjoys facing outwards). Another great feature is the storage basket is huge! One of the biggest I have seen on a stroller. Our current stroller has an adequate size basket, and it always seemed full, but this stroller's basket is so big that even with a diaper bags, jackets, toys, and snacks there's still room. We used this stroller through different terrains and the maneuverability withstood it all. It rode smooth and turned with ease. The canopy is quite big too and shaded my daughter well, it has more of an enclosed canopy which is great. The padding and fabric was smooth and felt comfortable, no complaints from my daughter. One of the drawbacks with this stroller is that it was a bit heavy. So taking it out and putting it back into a car was not great, but with the self stand it did make it easier, to not have to bend over too much. Overall it is a great stroller for the price.
Had some challenges putting the stroller together. Some directions were confusing, but ultimately got it done. My LO immediately wanted to try it out, so we used it in the house. My 2 yo is tall - 36” - but fit comfortably with the canopy up and from feet to footrest. LO sat in it for a long time watching tv, eating lunch, etc., so assume it' comfortable. The stroller positions her higher and out front, which allows her to see more of her surroundings. My goal for this stroller is to use it for travel around town, and possibly air travel/vacations. My favorite feature is how easy it is to collapse - that's so important when juggling a LO. The drawback is it is still heavy and a bit bulky. It's do-able, and easier to collapse than the other strollers I currently own, but I needed two hands to lift it in my vehicle. One thing I really love - when using the stroller in the upright/seated mode for one child, the ample basket is incredibly easy to access. It's easy for me to store and get at my diaper bag, and there is room for extras like coats, shoes, etc. The stroller was comfortable for me, too. I am 6' tall, and the handle, while not adjustable, is positioned well for me. The wheels are also set wide enough that I can walk comfortably - not the case with all strollers. I would recommend this to other parents - it's versatile, comfortable, and portable. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this stroller.
Bought for my daughter and she loves it, she was worried because we bought online, however she was impressed as soon as it came out of the box.She put in and out of car and it was so easy to use and store. She loved the pacifier included. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I feel like trying out a million different baby products is an occupational hazard in parenthood. Since our daughter was little we've tried out a handful of strollers and have found that the suspension wasn't good enough or it was hard to steer one-handed. I also find that strollers rarely come with all of the perks, like cupholders. Well, the Graco Modes2Grow Stroller doesn't disappoint. We live in a snowy area of the country and the stroller is easy to maneuver over sidewalks that aren't fully shoveled and my daughter doesn't feel like she's being jostled when we go over bumps. When needing to grab a lovey that's out of reach, I can easily steer the stroller with one hand while grabbing the lovey with the other. Another amazing feature of the Graco Modes2Grow? Your child can face out towards the street or in towards you. This was huge for us and what's better? This feature is so easy to use! When our daughter decides she wants to change directions, she climbs out, we turn the seat around and she climbs back in--it's so simple. Our little one loves riding in this stroller. She uses our walks as her quiet time and loves how big the sunshade is. I feel great about the sunshade too because it's SPF 50, giving me peace of mind that when it gets sunny and warm here, she'll be protected. Another feature we both really enjoy? The storage compartment for me and the snack tray for her. I love her snack tray because it easily moves so she can climb in and out of her stroller and she loves it because her snacks are always right where she needs them to be. We're in walking distance to our local grocery store and our two grocery bags fit in the storage compartment under the stroller without a problem--making it that much easier to get everything home without having to jump in the car. With all of these amazing features, one inconvenience is the size of the stroller. It feels big for one child and it's tricky to store in compact spaces. We're planning on having another baby soon and I feel like the size will make more sense as a double stroller. Because of the possibility of having another baby, I played around with the bassinet mode and the velcro snaps make it super easy to convert from a regular stroller seat to an infant seat. This will be huge for wanting to go on walks without having to fumble around with the car seat. I would definitely recommend this stroller if you want a stroller that will grow with your child and with your family too! Thanks, weeSpring parent panel for sending me this stroller to try and review.
I received for being on the WeeSpring Parent Panel. So after using the stroller for a couple of weeks, below is the list of pros and cons: Pros: 1. The ability to have two kids in the stroller at one time. I don't need this functionality, but I can see how convenient this feature can be. 2. Smooth ride for my son 3. Sunshade is phenomenal, covers a huge amount of my son when he needs to nap 4. Large basket to hold necessities 5. The seat almost goes completely flat. 6. Ability to face your child toward you. Cons: 1. One of the pros is also a con, because the stroller has the ability to hold two children at once, the weight of the stroller is quite heavy. However, due to the ability to be a double stroller I would expect this weight. Its also very large and it will not fit in smaller cars trunks. 2. Removing the tray to put my son in the stroller. It is quite difficult to remove the tray and get my son in the stroller, it's quite stiff and I'm not sure if I'm putting my hands in the right spot at times when trying to remove the tray. 3. Handle bar to push the stroller is quite high. I'm not the tallest person, 5'3", however, the handle bar is up to my chest and I feel like a child pushing around my son. 4. Location of the parent tray is placed in a horrible position. It is right by the top of the seat where my son sits, so if I were to lay my son down, it would run into the tray. I have to push the top of the seat down to get the seat to go down, disturbing my son at times while he's asleep. 5. The reclining feature of the seat is a drawstring which is not something i prefer. It makes it difficult for me to put my son back up without me having to push him while pulling on the drawstring. Its a pain. Not to mention the tray gets in the way because of where it is located. For me the cons out weigh the pros. The functionality of the stroller is nice, however, just getting my son in and out is a hassle and the handle bar being so high up gets uncomfortable for me. Reclining my son in the stroller is not the easiest which is something I do look for in a stroller. There is great potential for this stroller, however, it just isn't right for me.
Bought this a month or two ago thinking this would be great for my infant. I love the feature that you can turn the seat around so baby / toddler can face you but I hate the push of this stroller the plastic wheels are awful. Would rather go with a jogger next time with the rubber tires.
