The basket goes great in my massage room, it brings something out in the room all while storing extra sheets and towels. It took about 2 hours to put together. Although it is shorter than I hoped, I took a box and covered it with fabric and sat the basket on top of it to give it a little more leverage. It still looks nice and i would recommend this item to others.
Needed inexpensive storage option for playroom and two of these did the trick. Husband put it all together - I'm glad I didn't have to do it! Baskets come flat, must be assembled and are not the sturdiest things in the world. For small toy storage, it can't be beat. Bought it in white, but wished the dark wood would have been in stock. Glad I purchased it.
I am still undecided. I did read the reviews but ordered the unit anyway. And I wish the frame was twice the thickness but of course this is mail order so the weight would have significantly increased. As it is it does seen frail for its use, especially along the long axis. Maybe I can add some cross bracing in the back. Very attractive.
I have been waiting for this item to come back in stock, so when it did I ordered it immediately. I did Site to Store and it arrived quickly. The only problem is it arrived damaged. Bummer! It wasn't packed very well so I could see how this happened. I returned it and I'm currently trying to decide if I want to reorder it. I can't comment on how it is to assemble; didn't get that far. I took a pic so you can see how it looks when you get it, it doesn't look like it would be hard to assemble but others seem to say it is. It looks like it is useful if you have space constraints but I would say it's a little over priced.
I'm using this storage unit for my sons nursery. However, the storage itself is not as big as I had hoped. The building process was very easy although as said in other reviews the holes don't line up or even had any to go by. I feel for the price and even with it on sale is not worth it. It should be around $50 just because of how flimsy it is. Also did not realize that the wicker baskets are not real wicker it's just a front in which was a huge disappointment on my part. I have my rating 3 stars just because I do like the finish look.
This is cute. It is way smaller than we thought. It also doesn't match the color (espresso) of the other baby furniture purchased in the same line, in the same color. It is much darker. Will be used in a different room for a different purpose.
This unit is very nice looking assembled and the 5 basket drawers store a wide variety of items but the wood pieces are very low quality and when fully assembled it is quite wobbly and easily shifts side to side due to the open member construction which holds the majority of the structure (which are unconnected and non-structural)individual baskets. This unit was listed in Toy Storage; which it does well, but I have MAJOR concerns about its life span around two small children. I listed this unit as best suited for Baby/Nursery or Adults where it will be left alone for the most part and not pushed or potentially climbed upon. I believe that a relatively comparable storage unit could have been bought at a local value retailer for much less money and possibly even better constructed.
recieved this with stains and holes in the basket covers. No matter what we do we can not get anything tight enough to not wobble. NOT worth the money!
I bought this for my baby boy's nursery and when we got it, it was a nightmare to put together. The instructions are picture instructions....never good, and some pieces that came put together had to be taken apart because they were on backwards. The baskets are very cheap. I snapped the handle on one before we even finished putting it together. Looks cute in the baby's room but won't last. Too cheap for price.
biggest piece of trash. the directions are garbage. came broken had to rig it to get it to even get together. spent the last 30 mins trying to get the drawer together for the boxes. what a nightmare. not work 100. more like $20 at best. do yourself a favor find a better option. save yourself the aggravation
