Great changing table, for a great price. Easy to put together.
Its beautiful and very well made
The Grace Changing Table by AFG is a solid piece of furniture that functions well for its purpose. When I first opened the package, I was a little intimidated by all the different parts that were to be put together. However the assembly was very easy and faster than I thought it would be, and I did not need the help of another person. I like the way the drawers glide open without any resistance. The drawers also are very spacious and quite sturdy enough for storing baby clothes and diapers. Considering all the expenses new parents have to contemplate, it is great to have the option of buying products that work nicely at a good price.
pros: Looks nice Deep changer accommodates thick changing pad Tall changer saves my back Plenty of storage Cons: Drawers seem to get stuck No area to put changing stuff(diapers, cream, etc) so I use the top drawer just for that stuff Overall Id recommend
We decided on this dresser/changing table because it is made of solid wood with a non-toxic finish. The dresser looks great, is solid & sturdy, & has incredibly deep, large drawers. We are confident this piece of furniture will grow well with our little girl & her wardrobe. However, we were disappointed with the quality of some of the pieces. The bottom & back of the drawers are thin laminate pieces. Also, the corners were not "dovetail", which is something we expected of solid wood furniture being sold at this price.
We haven't used the changing table/dresser yet as our little one isnt' here yet, but it seems pretty good. My one complaint is that the color is bright white..almost blue if that makes sense and it makes our crib look a little dirty. But I think we'll keep it as it's not that noticeable. It's good quality though for the most part. One other thing is that the drawers don't seem the sturdiest. I think for baby clothes, it will be fine, but we took one out and it was a little difficult to get back in. I think for the price, you can't beat it. I looked at every dresser on the market and it was the best for the moeny. Hope this help. Directions are VERY straightforward and we put it together in about an hour. hope this helps!
What you see is what you get, it is ok for the price, it may feel a little fragile but as I just said compared to similar products but way expensive this is fine.
Folks, We'd advise you steer clear of this particular model. Although it arrived intact, the construction is cheap and won't last. Build quality and overall tolerances are poor: In order to get the center drawer to close properly, we had to realign the slide rails in the chest (NOT part of assembly!) - and this was on a brand new unit! Additionally, one of the drawer sides was already coming delaminated - not a good sign. Spend your hard-earned dollars on something else.
So far this dresser gets one star. While assembling the drawers, I could tell pieces had been broken off. By a previous buyer? I did not buy pre owned furniture. I put the rest of the frame together to see if the one drawer I put together would slide in, and it didnt. So over an hour into assembly, the drawers are no good. Small pieces were clearly broken off and could not be held together by re-screwing them back together since the particle board was shredded inside. I called, and left a message. No response yet. I have sent an email including pictures; no response yet. Might update if I get a reply or they send fixed pieces. Not worth your time if you want drawers to be held together.
It's a horrible product, the material is pressed ply wood. It's has cracked in just about every pre drilled hole. Not worth the $$$ you work for.
