I've read the reviews for this changing table combo before purchasing so I had an idea of what to expect. The assembly does take some time but it comes out nicely, considering the low price point. You don't get solid wood of course but the changing table seems sturdy and well-made if you have the patience to put into the assembly. The baby isn't here yet so I can't comment on how it'll hold up, but so far so good. The space next to the changing area is perfect so you never have to leave the baby to rummage around for supplies. It fits a diaper caddy, wipes and hand sanitizer. The changing area fits a standard changing pad. I bought the Delta 48pc. nursery organizer and the 3 little bins that come with the set fit perfectly in the drawers. I'm using it as drawer organizers for socks, washcloths, mittens and other little items. The color matches the Sorelle Urban crib from Babies R Us. Additonally, if you go to the manufacturer's website, they give a toll-free number you can call for step-by-step instructions if you run into trouble with the assembly. Overall this changing table is functional, good-looking, cheap, and worth the challenge of putting it together.
They changing table itself was perfect. I love it. There were issues with the delivery. The package was badly damaged when I recieved it, and the table had a couple of scratches and a few chunks out of the wood. I would recommend not using Fedex.
Very good for the price! It was a little difficult to put together and the directions weren't too great, but other than that it has been great, it also has plenty of room in the drawers.
We recieved this one yesterday, it did take alot of time to assemble with all unmarked screws etc. But if you can match up all the parts with the pictures they give you you'll be fine. The top doesn't stay in place (but you can buy little things for non slip) for us we will be picking up a few at the dollar store. Overall the dresser is stunning, it's exactly as pictured. One last comment, dont put anything really heavy in the drawers (just clothing) I know alot of people puts almost everything in drawers but these cannot withstand much weight. Also, be careful putting on the backing because the little nails will poke through the other side of your not tedious.
This is a really lovely dresser/change table combo. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was not the most user-friendly in terms of building it - it came in one box that was extremely heavy to move, and took my husband and I most of an afternoon to put together. It also did have one piece where the holes were cut wrong, but I'm sure that was probably a one-off mistake.
I was excited for this table as it is longer than most and allows a space for more items within reach. It also looks quite cute. However it does seem cheaply crafted as when mine arrived it already had dings in it. It is decent for the price.
This was a difficult piece to assemble. The directions were not very clear at all, took about 5 hours to set up!! It looks nice now that it is put together though.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR This item is pressed particle board. Its at a low price because it is of low quality material. Its construction took like 6 hours. Instructionsare unclear, I am a draftsman, I know schematics. Unfortunetly, it had been damaged during transit.
I'm giving this a one star for now pending on what happens next. Like some of the other posts, I received the product damaged. With a baby on the way in the next two weeks, we will not have this piece ready unless the damaged piece replaced and delivered in time. There are a lot of pieces to this item and looks challenging. I will update.
