bought this for my new grandchild due in April. My wife and I put it all together and feel it will be perfect for the baby. My wife is already making lots of handmade matching bedding and clothing. We can hardly wait for our first grandchild to arrive!
Purchased this for my little girl's first couple months in our room. She hasn't arrived yet so I can't give any info on how it is with baby in it. I was able to put this together myself without my husband. Granted it took me a while but that was thanks to my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I think it's very cute & I love the toy box! Right now we'll use the net for diapers but transform it later!
I bought this item for my son and his girlfriend and they loved it.
Shower Gift
The Badger Basket- Portable Bassinet is very cute, but when it comes down to the casters they do not stay in place when you try to move the bassinet. No matter how tight you tighten them down to the base so it can roll. When it comes to rolling the bassinet its not all that easy to roll on carpet.

My mom purchased this for my new baby and it was to be delivered to my local store. The store was terrible, but that's another review. The bassinet was in a box that was dented and had been taped and re taped. When my husband tried to put it together, there were screws missing ,and THE BEDDING AND MATTRESS WERE DIRTY!!!! Not the normal packing dirt, but like it was used in someone's home and they sent it back to Walmart. There are stains on the bassinet mattress that look as if water or some other liquid go on it. Its disgusting. WE WILL NEVER ORDER THIS AGAIN.
I bought this because I thought it was cute, big mistake. It is cheap and the parts they give you don't even fit together so it is impossible to assemble. So dissapointing. I recommend a Pack n Play playyard.
Please don't buy this bassinet or let anyone that you know buy it. It was given to me as a shower gift, and initially it seemed great! The picture on the box is adorable and it converts to a toybox! However, once I began assembling it the trouble began. The parts are poorly made and very difficult to assemble. They are nearly impossible to line up due to extremely tiny screws and fiddly/oddly shaped supports. I gave up and was about to return it but my husband had a go and won. We both have extensive experience in assembling furniture from IKEA, Target, Walmart, as well as some carpentry and home repairs. This took us +2.5 hours to put together!! It was missing 6 parts which we had to order from Badger. They were sent for free, but it took a week before the thing was entirely assembled. The "Toybox" isn't really a toybox but a wheeled basket with cardboard sides and a bottom made of netting. It wouldn't be nice for storing toys at all as the netting drags the floor and the "box" could easily be flipped over by a young child. Also, pad/sheet that come with it are pretty thin. Pad is thinner than diaper changing pad. Now that it's together it seems stable/safe enough to use and it is cute. I'm done with the saga and will use it for its couple months of intended use by my bedside. However, it's overpriced for what you get and assembly is NOT worth it.
Do not recommend this item mattress is so thin we had to buy another on and its so unstable doesnt even lock on can be easily tipped over . Horrible mistake i thought it was going to be cute NOT WORTH IT
