I chose to review this baby bassinet as part of the Spark Reviewer program. I think this will be a very helpful item to have for my new baby due very soon. The bassinet was very easy to assemble with just a screwdriver. I put it together myself with the help of my 5-year-old son. The directions are very clear, and the pieces are marked for easy assembly. The most time consuming part of the assembly was making sure the screws for the support were tight enough. The bassinet comes with a cloth basket for the lower part as well as a decorative lacy cover and a canopy. Also, the casters can be locked for safety. There is a very thin (1 inch) water-resistant pad and sheet included. The bassinet also has a battery-operated music player which attaches to the front railing. The bassinet can only be used for babies up to 15 pounds. I plan to place the bassinet next to my bed as an alternative to the crib for the first few months. Overall, I feel that the bassinet is a good value for the price. It will only be used a few months, but I think it will be very helpful as a napping place for my new baby.
we bought this as a gift for my nephew, they loved it. and for the price you cant beat it. also the little music box put it over the top. would recommend.
We didn't plan to get a bassinet and had got a co sleeper which we were not happy with. Ended up rushing out to get something for baby to sleep in and got this. Sooooo happy with it. Music is nice quality not annoying. Wheels are so nice to wheel baby around the house from room to room. Best $50 ever spent. Wish he could stay in this longer than 15 pounds because it's so handy!
Purchased for our Granddaughter and have been using it for a month. It's lovely, the design is functional and it's easy to move around on tile. The bottom rack is useful; have used the light most often. Excellent value for the price and style.
This is such a nice product not just the look and the feel but the idea you can keep it right by the mothers bed or couch or wherever she is trying to nap with the little one. It is on casters that lock so you can move it from room to room with ease. It has a comfortable sleeping area with a fitted sheet so you can wash it whenever needed. Very lightweight and has a nice storage area below for a few little things you will need for the baby. Great idea for a portable extra napping place or such a good deal for baby's room for the first few months. Very easy to put together and it looks just perfect a must have for real....
Delta Children Sweet Beginnings Bassinet, Turtle Dove is recommended for babies up to 15 lbs, is very pretty. My cat Mouse is around 13 lbs. took a likely to this bassinet. That last night Mouse feel sleep in the bassinet and I took some pictures. First I will start with putting the bassinet together, I will say that is was very easy. It took about 45 minutes, putting on the skirt took me longer, for you have to slip it on the bassinet to stay with snap buttons, and the bed stay in place with snap buttons too. If you want to clean the skirt you have to take the whole bed out. The storage under the bassinet I did not put on for I reality it after I put it together. It has to be put on the rods before putting together. The mattress is far too thin for a baby, but I am not using mine for a baby, but for my cats. The music and light need 3AA batteries to work. The music and light button is in the front so sometime the music and light goes on when you lead over in the front. It went on a few time when I was putting the bassinet together. As for babies this is gender neutral (as for cats too). This bassinet is very pretty and a very nice height. I think the price is good.
This bassinet is very cute. My wifey is pregnant and we had the chance to get this bassinet free through Walmart as a spark reviewer and I'm happy we did. This bassinet is really nice, the color is perfect because its white, making it gender neutral. It fits into the bedroom without being intrusive unlike a full crib. This took me about 15-20 minutes to put it together. It feels pretty sturdy I put a 10 pound bag of potatoes in it to be sure I put it together right ;). The wheels help you to move the bassinet and baby around from the bedroom to the living room so smoothly and the little storage area underneath holds wipes and diapers easily. Basically this is a great little bassinet and I feel sure that when wifey has our new little one he or she will look so cute sleeping in it.
This bassinet is easy to assemble, my newborn fits into it and I'm comfortable leaving her in it while she sleeps. One thing I would change is that the music sound level should be adjustable
This is a really cute bassinet. It wasn't too difficult to follow the directions to assemble. I'm not sure this would last very long in every day use, but for a very small newborn it might be just the thing to keep close to mom's bed. The mattress is very thin, but I've read that babies should not have plush mattresses. Hard is better for their spine development. Only holding 15 lbs maximum weight, it doesn't feel all that sturdy. Since babies are often born at 9 or 10 lbs, it wouldn't be usable very long. But for the price, and it is cute, I can see it being purchased and used for a very short time. The music and night light feature are an idea, but it does seem to be located in an odd place and could easily be turned on accidentally. I can't see a real reason for the hood. I certainly wouldn't use this outside, and I can't see a reason for using a hood inside. But it looks nice.
After assembling this item it is still rickety and not very sturdy. The "two large section storage baskets" on the bottom already touch the ground with nothing in them. The all white design is flawed since their are bright red snaps to hook the frills and bottom in place (clearly visible ruining the overall appearance). Not impressed with this item and would not recommend to anyone.
