This crib mattress protector feels very soft and of good quality. Its not thin like some others might be. For now I am using it in my sons bassinet and it fits perfectly. It's very absorbent as well, I poured some water on it to test it, no leaks, Great product for babies or toddlers bed.
This is one of the best waterproof pad I have ever tried. My toddler always has accidents during the nights and I used to have put extra sheets down so she wouldn't ruined the mattress, not anymore with the sealy pad. Its easy to put one and almost looks and feels like extra sheets. Now I don't have to worry about ruining the mattress. If she has an accident I just remove the pad and wash it.
We just started potty training the little one so this was a perfect option for her crib. It fit comfortably and properly. It's texture isn't too soft but it's perfect for under the sheets. It protects the mattress from stains and even better It's water resistant so nothing penetrates or seeps through.
This is a great quality and didn’t disappoint. It fits perfectly on my crib mattress, and stays put. The fitted sheets easily fits over this. I washed and dried it, and it didn’t shrink. I love that it is white, so I can bleach it if I would ever need to do so. It’s also very soft and comfy!
I got this waterproof mattress protector for my daughter's crib. She occasionally has a leaky diaper or spills a sippy cup of water during sleep time. When bringing it out of the packaging, I noticed a crinkling sound coming from the waterproof layer and was worried that it would be loud for my baby when she rolled around, but after putting it on, I realized it does not make any sounds when it is on the mattress. It fit perfectly on my toddler/crib size mattress. After a few days, I had the opportunity to see if it worked when my daughter spilled her drink on it and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mattress underneath the pad was not wet at all. This product works and I am happy with my product.
This is a good mattress protector! This cover fits my standard crib size mattress nicely, which is what I needed. There is no shifting or bunching under the fitted sheet so I am not worried about SIDS and it is tight enough to still fit a standard crib size fitted sheet over top of it. I would recommend you two of these and get two sets of sheets. It was one of the best baby tips I received. Layer your crib with: mattress pad, sheet, mattress pad, sheet. Then, in the middle of the night when your precious baby throws up or leaks through a diaper, all you have to do is take off the first layers and you’re all set to go back to sleep! My crib mattress has zero stains and is in pristine condition still. It washes and dries easily. It is waterproof which is perfect with littles. It is not super soft or fluffy but babies are not supposed to sleep on really fluffy things, they need a firm mattress. You are going to put a sheet right on top of it so it is fine that this is not silky soft. This works great, I highly recommend you get two!
I never purchased a waterproof cover for my babies mattresses because the actual mattress is waterproof. Since having this cover, it has definitely made life easier. If a bottle spills, there is a diaper leak, kid gets sick, or whatever, I can just rip the sheet and cover off and get the bed ready to go again very quickly. There's no need to wipe down the mattress and wait for it to dry or spray Lysol or whatever would need to happen to clean it. That alone makes it worth having, especially at night when you want the baby/kid to go back to sleep as fast as possible. The cover is pretty thick and soft. The bottom portion/edges are stretchy to easily put on. It wraps around a fair amount and hasn't moved since I put it on. I would recommend this for anyone that has a child who uses a toddler/crib mattress. Would make a great baby shower gift!
The waterproof mattress pads I had for my twins were a different brand, and were thick and seemed too hot in the summer, so I didn't really use them. It also sounded like they were sleeping on plastic bags. Now that I had another baby, I decided to try this Sealy waterproof mattress pad. I expected this to be similar to the ones I had before, but it is so soft and breathable! At first I thought there was no way it could be waterproof, but it definitely has a waterproof layer. But it's not noisy like those "plastic bags" I had before. I think my favorite thing about it is how soft it is though. Not plush, so my baby can sleep safely, but she just seems more comfortable.
This mattress pad is perfect for our crib mattress. It is thick enough to absorb plenty of accidental spills or leaks and I also really appreciate how it stretches easily over the sides of the mattress. Some mattress pads I've had in the past don't fit around the sides well so this was a definite perk! I would definitely recommend this for anybody with little ones.
I am currently using this on a 4inch twin mattress, my daughter has accidents like all toddlers. I was pleasantly surprised how soft the top is, the sides and bottom are quite elastic kinda like a "fitted" sheet. No accidents yet, so I don't know how well it will be during washing, so far gives bit of peace of mind.
