I ordered these mattresses to replace the ultra thin mattresses that come free with the compact cribs. These mattresses are supportive of the infant and maintain the safety of the infant by not being so thick that the infant could climb out of the crib. The infants sleep great on these mattresses!!!
Glad I ordered this mattress instead of the one that was recommended with the crib!!! It's much thicker and my grandson was a preemie and he sleeps comfortably on it!!
I thought this was a fair price and there are not to many 5" mattresses for portable beds, so i am pleased.
We ordered this instead of the smaller, thinner one and this one fit perfectly in our Dream On Me mini crib. The thinner ones seemed like they wouldn't be very comfortable for a baby in a crib. Very satisfied with our purchase!
My 16 month old is a definite crib kid. Loves his crib only sleeps in his crib since 2 months. Doesn't sleep in the car or stroller so going on our first vacation where he was going to have to sleep in a pack n plat stressed me out for months. The base of a pack n play is so hard and uncomfortable. After months of stressing I finally came upon this. It's exactly like his crib mattress and was perfect. He slept like a champ night and day and was able to jump up and down like a lunatic just like he does at home in his crib. Thank god for this mattress!!!! Best vacation ever
When deciding to purchase the Dream on Me Portable crib and changer combo, I knew from the reviews that we needed to purchase a mattress instead of relying on the pad included with our crib. Naturally, we chose a product by the crib maker to ensure a proper fit. It was an excellent choice! An excellent quality product, it easily fit into my Dream on Me Jayden crib. Definitely would recommend to a friend for any crib!
I had to take the first matress I received back to Walmart, I tried to replace it at 3 different Walmarts before finally just getting a refund and having to reorder it. I don't know if it was damaged in shipping or what, but the first matress had 3 holes in it. The second matress met all of my expectations and I am satisfied with the results. I hate that the portable matresses are not carried in the stores but I don't know how much of a demand there is for this type of crib and matress.
This is a great mattress. Took out 2 stars because of the shipping. This mattress was shipped with only 1 transparent plastic cover which was torn and the mattress had dirt on it. As this is waterproof, so we cleaned it and didn't wanted to go with the hassle of returning. I wish Walmart could have done something better in this case, as it is baby stuff and it should arrive in un-torn box.
This mattress lasted less than a year. around 8months is when I noticed the first split in the material. It has not been abused or mistreated in anyway and I always keep a clean sheet on it. Now at nearly 2 years old, it has multiple splits. The corners are beginning to break down as well. Alas, before all the splits, it served it's purpose. And I was happy with the thickness. Now that I need a new mattress, I will not be going with this brand again.
The mattress is too soft. Its not as firm as the one from the convertible crib which my toddler uses, which I had actually hoped it would be firmer. However, this would still be acceptable if the material did not lose shape. Not sure how to describe it, please look at the pictures. We are using the mattress since 2 month for our now 4 month old baby. He is on the heavier side, but that can not justify how the mattress looks and there is even a small hole that developed.
