My home stairs end in a shadowy area and I have had a couple tripping incidents. I put a 1 inch wide strip of Scotchlite tape along the top edge of the bottom step and have had zero near falls since. The smallest amount of light makes the Scotchlite glow and clearly define that last step's edge.
Used this for 1971 VW Super beetle rear signal light housing.. just enough tape to do both sides to rehad and brighten the light bulb housing.. works pretty good
Like the tape, more expensive than alternatives but appears to be about 10% more reflective than the other tapes. I suspect that 10% gives you quite a bit more distance visibility than you would attribute.
great tape to put on your bike to ride in the dark put it on the handlebars and the straight bar both sides 6-in pieces work just fine. remember safety first.
