took the tape off my car without damaging my paint
Worked great at removing PPF residue from my vehicle when nothing else would! Be careful though, if your clear coat is gone it will eat through the paint as well.
An effective aerosol sticker residue remover. Would buy again...
Still took A LOT of elbow grease, but this was the only product that I found to remove layers upon layers of adhesive tape off of our mini van, where I had taped on the blinker light assembly for years before I finally got around to fixing it permanently. Needed to get the van ready for re-sale, and this product saved the day. And no harm to the paint.
i used this to prep an area prior to it receiving decorative trim. easy to use (i sprayed it onto a rag first as the nozzle has a very large dispersion area).
I had some stick on shelves in my shower that had a large piece of adhesive securing them to the shower wall. One of the shelves broke, and I had to remove the adhesive and used 10 things before I tried this. It did take some elbow grease, but the adhesive completely came off. Be careful of the fumes because they are powerful!
The first 3M product I've ever been disappointed with. 'Goo Gone' and 'Goof Off' do a much better job. Sorry 3M, I'm 73, born and raised in Minnesota and have lived here most of my life and have been a faithful 3M customer since I was about 13 and started painting cars. I will continue to buy 3M but this was no home run, more like a foul bunt.
This is almost works like acetone and smells like it. Spraying it per instructions is a bad idea. I then wiped it on with a fine brush, which worked better. Still required me to touch up the paint. I attached a pic of my wall before I repainted the affected areas. After painting, wall looks good.
Did not take off adhesive after one time or two times or even let it sit. Ended up causing a film of the residue which had to be cleaned off after.
This 3M adhesive remover spray is highly toxic, the fumes of the spray made me close to passing out. Using WD-40 did a better job at removing the adhesive than this toxic spray did. If you do decide to buy it spray it outside because the smell will linger for 2 days or more. JUST AN FYI.
