Does exactly what it is supposed to do, Well worth the money. Directions were easy. No tools or drills needed but you do have to put some work into it if you want the desired results. You have to go through all the steps, don't get discouraged halfway through. You will be satisfied. There's enough product to do several vehicles.
Did a great job. Headlights look like new. Highly recommend it. Applied to 2007 Subaru with 210k. I was going to buy new lights. So happy I tried this first.
Direction very clear and easy to understand. My end result was FABULOUS! I will recommend this product to everyone!

Do not skimp on steps. Follow instructions and work hard and you will get clear lights!
The Chevy dealer told me $59, where I get my oil changed said $39, this was an inexpensive option. Lots of elbow grease, don't rush thru the first steps, put all your energy into it, it makes it worth it. My lights are brighter at night now, they dont appear as dim and when on bright they really shine out there. I can actually see the bulbs in the headlights now. My vehicle is 7 years old.
Bought this product to restore a headlight that was cloudy and yellow on my car. The product came with everything as described on the box, but would need to supply your own masking tape, spray bottle, towels and headlight protectant (which isn't included in this edition of 3M Kit). The kit was able to restore my headlight to a very acceptable condition, but is not 'like new' as a heavy duty kit would have to be used if the headlight is in very bad shape. Using this kit requires a lot of elbow grease and energy for it to properly restore a headlight, especially if it is in bad condition. The foam pad that comes with the kit is not the highest quality as the glue holding the velcro disc and foam pad was disintegrating and nearly separated by the time I was finished sanding. I would recommend to buy the 3M kit that comes with the headlight protectant, or invest in a different protectant to make sure to protect your headlight after you have finished using this kit as the headlight will become oxidized again without it.
The box says no tools required, and thats not true. The kit has a sanding pad and requires a drill for application.
I followed the steps fine however by the time i finished the headlights were all foggy. I took the car to a car wash and the lights still look awful. I used this product because my headlights had mild yellow spots on the top and the rest looked good, by the end of the day all the headlight looked bad. Not sure what to do at this point because i don't know how to get rid of the fog.
This is the second time buying this product with little to no noticeable difference after following directions exactly per instructions Called 3M customer support for assistance which I was hung up on twice waiting. I sure wish I kept the receipt to get my money back. My cousin swears by this 3M lens restore and he would show me but I refuse to buy another one after already giving the company $32.00 for nothing.
