As a pathology resident, I read a LOT. I use the larger flags to mark pages that have text which describes essential concepts to a particular tumor or medical condition. I use the smaller flags to highlight pages which contain certain morphologic features that are important. I really like that the flags are textured to write on them so I can write case numbers to refer to when reading (looking at the glass slides is always better than textbook photos). The flags stay attached even though I cart everything around in a backpack and drag the book with flag edges in and out of my backpack multiple times per day. I keep a couple of these in my backpack and desk; next, I think I'll get the desktop flag dispenser for my desk at home.
