My 3 year old loves these. He uses them daily, never puts the caps on and they still work after almost a year. They mark on the ceramic tile and glass blocks in our shower where the crayons just don't show up. They are also much easier to clean than the crayons.
The colors are vivid, and the tops stay on when not in use, but unless the marker is perfectly perpendicular to the surface, they don't make any marks. Not as good as the bathtub crayons.
