It's very effective for an after shave treatment of sensitive skin.
This is the best after sun cream out there. My husband comes home after a long day of fishing, bright red , he showers , slather this on and next day, all of the redness is gone and no peeling or after effects from the sunburn. 10 thumbs up , if I had ten thumbs ;-)
I would like for this to be something that will be my Christmas present because I'm in the sun a lot when it's summer
Please bring back the old formula. It was amazing and I'd pay twice the price for it over this bad smelling oily junk I wasted my money on.
I just finished a container of this on vacation and love to recommend it. Bought a new container to get ready for summer, opened it and am seriously disappointed. The old lotion smelled and felt great. This newer formula is awful - both smell and feel. So disappointed as I loved the product. The old lotion went on like a lotion whereas the new one is thick and almost sticky feeling. It seems to sit on top of the skin as opposed to moisturizing it. Terrible change, please go back to the old formula.
This product used to be amazing and effective, with clean ingredients, a silky feel, and wonderful aroma. Now it's got the texture of mayonnaise and smells like chemicals. This used to be a company you could trust. Now it's just a faceless corporation that swaps in industrial oil for natural ingredients. Sorry to say. I'd LOVE to see a response to these negative reviews from Burt's that actually addressed the concerns rather than "we're sorry you're so stupid that you don't like our product, please call us".
I used to love your aftersun soother lotion but now not so much. First of all, when I ordered a new bottle I immediately noticed that my new bottle smelled much different and not in a good way. It used to have a pleasant fragrance but now it just smells like chemicals and I dread putting it on. I started to look at the ingredients and you've also changed them! Took out honeysuckle and lemon peel extract and added sunflower seed oil and soybean oil. This change was definitely change for the worst! Disappointed and I used to rave to my friends about this stuff.
Purchased a new bottle and the ingredients have changed and are not the same. Not a fan of the new ingredients- its smell and consistency have changed a lot. It's sad because this has been my favorite lotion for years! Photos include the old bottle on the left and new on the right- the ingredients have changed.
I used go out in the sun a lot and just loved the Aloe and linden flower after sun soother. After trying to avoid sun for a few years, today i was out again and felt the need for the great smelling and extremely soothing lotion. Still had two half containers stashed away, but slightly going bad by now. Looking it up online where to get a new container, found the million disappointed reviews of the new version. I won't be trying. Reviews are bad enough. Company claiming "same ingredients just new name" is a lie. Attached on my photo are the ingredients of the old version. Far from the new one.
I agree with so many others - the original product was perfect and I wish you'd go back to it. Based on recent reviews, it sounds like another summer with the changed formula. So disappointing! If you have any of the original formula available, please let me know because I'd love to purchase that.
