Great for acne. I mainly use it after working out or for when I dye my hair. It helps remove the hair dye around my hair line, ears, back of neck, etc. Great product I've been using since high school.
This astringent It's good I used for years this pretty much step to do all the other stuff they are supposed to be using with it. It does a good job cleaning.
This is a affordable product that works amazing 😻. Clean my face in a week. I use this after I wash my face as a toner after that I put on moisturizer. Highly recommended product.
This is the best stuff on the market for pimples. As a mom of two teenagers this is my top recommendation to prevent acne and to treat it once it appears. We use a cotton swab to dab the pimples. No heavy fragrance and gets the job done.
As soon as I saw that the packaging looked different and said “new and improved formula”, that right there told me I'd need to find something else to use going forward. Nonetheless, I figured I'd give this new one an chance anyway. Well, I was disappointed as expected. The original product worked great; if I had a pimple forming, I could literally see it shrinking when I used this product and it also helped with my oily skin. I can go so far to say it cleared my skin up better than some of the other more expensive brands I used, which is why I started buying it again to begin with. This new formula, however, doesn't really work at all. And I compared the ingredients of the original bottle to this new one and it says there isn't a difference but obviously you all removed whatever it was that was helping to remove acne. I would have rather you raised the price for the original than to completely change the formula and charge the same amount. Well, I'll be going back to using what I already had before and keep searching for something more effective in the meantime.
I have been using Clean & Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent for many years. It was the only over the counter product that worked for my cystic acne. I don't know why they changed the formula but this new gentle formula Acne Toner is terrible. Before pimples gone in 24-48hrs. Now it takes a week or more for them to go away while using the product daily. Now I have to search and test to find a new product..ugh
This Toner has been the one constant in my skincare routine for years and I think it's what has kept my skin looking great. I'm 56 so that's saying a lot! I saw they changed the formula so I got nervous and ordered several bottles of what I thought, was the old formula so I could stock up. Sadly they only had the new version so I reluctantly bought it. Totally disappointed. My skin doesn't feel nearly as clean and even feels sticky after I use it. I'll be returning what I got and looking for a new product. Why couldn't they add the new formula AND keep the old one?
I've been a devoted fan of the old formula for what might be decades. Super effective at keeping skin clear and drying blemishes. New formula doesn't come close. As with most formula changes that happen with perfectly great products, I'd love to see the people who thought this was a good idea to be fired. No- I don't recommend the new "Essentials" version. And won't purchase it again. Honestly not sure if I could trust seeing the old version back on the shelves- That's the damage brands do when they pull a switch on long time customers :(
So unhappy to discover the discontinuation of a product that I have been using successfully for a loooong time. I tried the recommended replacement, this toner, but the product leaves my face in need of a good cleaning and does nothing to control oil. The formulation isn't even close to the original. Please bring back the original!
Bring back the old formula. I've been using it since I was a teen (20+ years) and this new formula is awful. Makes my skin feel tacky and gross. I used to love the clean, cool feeling the old formula gave my skin, this feels like I need to wash my face immediately after I put it on. I feel like this would actually CAUSE breakouts on my skin type if I continue using it. Going to have to find another brand I guess. Why do companies try to “fix” tried and true products people have used for years and love?
