This is a great piece of furniture for the money. It's not perfect in fit + finish, but you would have to pay $1,000+ for anything else made of real wood. I did have damage when I received - large gouge right in the center of the top. I do not think it was shipping - the packaging did not have any corresponding damage. I emailed simpli home (the manufacturer) to the email in the manual with pictures and good information. They responded the next day that they were shipping me a new top. This allowed me to build the stand and replace the top when it came in. Worth a shot especially when you know the manufacturer will back it up.
This is a well-built piece of furniture, I have a 70 In TV and it looks great on it. This is the largest TV stand that I could find, and it is everything I was looking for.. Very Happy..
I wanted a tv stand to compliment the 'Man Cave' atmosphere. This tv stand is very nice and sturdy piece of furniture! The Big Screen TV fits well on the stand and it blends well with the bar set to complete the ultimate getaway! The furniture does require assembly, but I enjoy putting together modular furniture it's heavy however I was able to put it together in a couple of days by myself. Overall I would recommend this tv stand for a Family Room, Man Cave or Media Room.
It's a beautiful piece of furniture. There was no damage in the shipping process. It took a while to put together, but am very happy and it was a great price.
Took 3 hours to put together but it's a beautiful piece. It's much heavier than I anticipated and doesn't move easily. Very pricey, I'm thinking I may have been able to get a better deal.
I ordered this tv stand and it arrived within 5 days. The tv stand is made of all solid wood so it is heavy. The box it arrived in was not well padded but the stand does have clear directions on how to assemble. The only problem was the box appeared damaged and upon further inspection during assembly I noticed that the top shelf board and the bottom shelf board both had been cracked and split in in the same corner as the damaged box. This tv stand is nice and it should be shipped with better padding in the box to protect it. I returned the stand to my local Walmart the same day that it arrived. I am going to reorder and hope that it arrives undamaged. If it does arrive safely I would rate this tv stand as a 5 star for the price and quality.
Received damaged top and bottom board but instead of returning I decided to fix it. Went to the hardware store and bought some clamps and glue for repair. During assembly I found out that the pieces were not cut evenly so the whole thing would look crooked no matter how to try to adjust it. At this point and had decided to return wasted 2 nights and another night, half a day for repacking it and returning to a local Walmart. During repackaging I found out it was return once already because of a previous RMA number written on the box. This was a hassle and a waste of time very disappointed.
When the product arrived at our home, there were 6 pieces that were damaged or chipped. We returned the product and received a full refund.
