When replacing the OEM radio some feature may be lost. This interface will retain those features and also provide Navigation outputs when adding an aftermarket Navigation radio. This interface is prewired for ASWC-1 (sold separately) to retain steering wheel control functions as long as the aftermarket radio is steering wheel control capable. Faulty product shipped to me. I have been unable to reach them to get a new one. In the meantime, I will have to have everything uninstalled in my vehicle to get to the part that is faulty.
