I love these because they have the least amount of sugar than other electrolyte drinks (powders included), and they are the least expensive out of all the powdered Pedialyte drinks. The variety pack is nice; however, I am not a fan of the apple flavor. By the way, I am an adult, and I drink these to stay hydrated without all the extra sugar, which I'm sure will be even better for kids!
I got these for my nephew for the summertime so he won't be dehydrated and give him some electrolytes my brother and his son's mother was not trying to hear it I have a 24-year-old so I know kids need electrolytes so they won't be dehydrating and the crazy part about it is he got sick a couple months later and they came right in handy again if they listen to me
Taste is pretty good, not salty like the big bottles. Fruit punch is more like cherry chapstick flavored, strawberry is amazing! You can feel it working in your body about a half hour after drinking. Muscle cramps ease off quickly.
I bought many boxes of this product per the recommendation from my Dr when I became severely dehydrated. The product did wonders for rebalancing my electrolytes. The flavors are all pleasant. I highly recommend stirring the product with a spoon hard for a minute before consuming to integrate the salts and products. Otherwise your last two sips are quite nasty tasting.
the boxes were a little smashed when I got them, but the powders are in their own separate packets so nothing was ruined. other than that, it is exactly what the description says.
My Son in Law introduced me to Pedialyte a year ago. He has played all sorts of sports here in Florida. It has less sugar than Gatorade and absorbs better in your system. I use it for my family and aging father who has AFIB. I love these little packets, because we don't need them that often in the winter. They are so handy to carry on you or keep in the house.
I love those flavors, they remind me of flavored water a lot, the only downside would be the price other than that they good!!
1 packet = 1 serving; 8oz when water's added. The 36 oz container we usually buy contains three 12oz servings- a 3rd more than this powder type. Much less potassium, etc. than liquid Pedialyte contains. May be portioned for a child. Box states for adults and children. I like that no plastic was used in this form. I'll check to see if a stronger powder is available.
These might have been good if not for all the artificial dyes in it like red 40. There are better ways to add “color” to a drink. Why does it even need to have color anyway. That is the only “value” these dyes give otherwise they're very harmful to your body.
