I always thought Pedialyte was for kids, but I realize that it is a perfect hydrating drink for adults too. My son and I went for a long walk in the heat and I used one pack of the orange Pedialyte in a 16 fluid ounce water bottle, and it was so effective rehydrating us. The taste was delicious and did not have an after taste, like many other drinks I have tasted in the past. As you can tell from the picture, my son enjoyed the taste as well and he's very particular with everything he eats and drinks. I also love how convenient the packet is to pour in a 16 ounce water bottle and instantly have a thirst quenching drink. I have not yet travelled with them, but I will definitely buy this product for my next flight. I get extremely dehydrated on the plane and water is unable to quench my thirst, so this will be perfect in my carry-on bag. I used it after a workout and felt totally replenished as well. I also tried it cold, since the instructions said that it is best cold and it is true. It makes the drink taste even more refreshing. Another perk is that it is not loaded with extra calories, since one packet only has 50 calories. I highly recommend this product for an active lifestyle or simply to replenish fluids and electrolytes when you or your kids are sick or dehydrated.
These Pedialyte packets work very well for rehydration. I have been doing a lot of work outside lately in the sun and the heat really drains you after a while. I pour a Pedialyte packet in a water bottle and I feel rehydrated quickly. These packets are great to keep in your bag for on the go use. The orange flavor is very good, it is not too sweet or citrusy but has enough flavor that it does not taste watered down. I recommend these packets for rehydration whether it is from the heat, exercise, feeling under the weather, etc.
I absolutely love these on the go sticks. I don't usually keep pedialyte in the cabinet for when my kids get sick I always have to run out to the store. I love that I can mix these with water for anytime I need! I was really surprised that it mixed well and didn't leave little clumps floating around. My kids thought it tasted yummy! The flavor was good and not chalky.
Pedialyte's electrolyte powder packet is a great way to have what you need on hand, if/when you need it! It dissolves easily, and delivers the same effective ingredients as the original formula. It's so convenient to grab a packet and add it to a water bottle whenever you want or need it. Can easily add to a bottle and just shake it, or add to a glass and stir with a spoon. The formula is so helpful for your children if they've been dehydrated from being sick, and also very helpful for adults if they have that occasional hangover and need some revitalization. Out of the few different flavors Pedialyte has, I like the orange the best. I found the red and the purple flavors to taste a bit like cough syrup (which isn't helpful if you're not feeling well already), so the orange might be helpful to those who are sensitive to flavor associations. Overall, this is the #1 recommended pediatrician and pharmacist brand, and this is my top choice over Gatorade and other sugary electrolyte drinks.
This powder Pedialyte tastes great. I add it to my water to replenish my electrolytes and stay hydrated after a workout. Since I live in Vegas and it's getting hot, this is an excellent way to start my day. When you sleep you lose electrolytes and it's crucial to get enough! The flavor also makes it easier to drink water daily. I've used different Pedialyte drinks in the past to help me when I'm sick too. I'm sure this will work just as well. It's great to pack when traveling especially on hikes. You should always keep this in the cupboard! Add it to your water to get the quality hydration you need. The package says it tastes best cold and I agree. But drinking it warm is also good. I haven't tried the other flavors, but the orange tastes great to me.
I was really apprehensive to try this... I am super particular when it comes to food and drink... Orange drinks are really my favorite tho. However I am a little juvenile when it come the certain things and when I hear Pedialyte....I think of children and blahhhh.......But I threw caution to the wind and gave it a try. I was a little overwhelmed by the size of the packet when I first opened it. I use drink mixes all the time in my water and have never seen an individual drink mix packet SOOO big! However I took a sip out of my 16.9 oz water bottle (to the top of the label) and mixed in the product. I was expecting nastiness when i took my first drink but it was actually very tasty! SCORE!!! Not strong, doesn't taste like medicine....just a good orange drink. No clue what it does for re-hydration or anything like that but it tastes good and I will definitely buy again.
I tried this after a long day at the amusement park with the family. I really don't care for sports drinks, but I was feeling pretty dehydrated, so I figured I'd give this a try. I mixed it into 16oz bottle of water. I was pleasantly surprised. It was much lighter and tastier than I expected. Drinks that tout rehydration have always seemed too heavy, salty, and/or sweet to me. This was not. And I did feel better after drinking it. The kids all liked it too. I'm told it's good for a hangover, but I'd rather not have to try it for that, lol. I will be keeping this on hand for those times when a drink of water just doesn't quite cut it.
I've always had Pedialyte on hand in the event my kiddos would get sick, however the bottles take up some cupboard space. The single serving power option has really worked for my family because I can have some on hand, but not take up a ton of room. Flavor is good and product is easy to make.
I am writing this review on the Pedialyte Electrolyte Powder, Orange, Electrolyte Hydration Drink, 0.6 oz Powder Packs (18 Count). This product is great. I love being able to take this with me on the go. Each pack is small and easy to store and carry. Then whenever I need a boost of electrolytes I can just add it to a bottle of water. I am not a huge fan of the flavor. I found it to be a little creamy tasting. I was hoping for more of a sour orange juice flavor. But they are still pretty good. And my kids actually really like the flavor. Good for the whole family. As stated on the box. Good for kids and adults. I highly recommend these for everyone young or old.
I travel a lot for work and one thing I do to avoid getting ill or run down is to stay hydrated by drinking electrolyte powders. I have tried almost every electrolyte and vitamin drink product available at most retailers. I was very excited to try Pedialyte Electrolyte Powder in Orange. First, you get more value with the larger packets that fit 16 ounce bottles; ultimately providing more hydration. Note that the orange flavor did have sodium which gave the orange flavor a bit of a salty taste overall to the beverage rather than a sweeter taste. If you are not a fan of the sweeter hydration beverages you would prefer this product.
