i loved this formula for my son , i only had to switch formulas once and that was from neurosure to alimentum . my son was less gassy and sleep through the night longer than he did when he was on neurosure . bowel movements were never a problem ! my son stayed on alimentum until he was a year and 2 months old then we switched to almond milk since he was eating enough proteins and table foods to do so ! love this product !
This was the only thing that helped my super colicky baby. Tried Nutramigen first but my baby was still super gassy so we switched to this and within 3 days she was a whole new baby.
Our daughter was getting an upset stomach from the Neosure so we switched from that to this and just use 1/2 scoop more per 8oz bottle to meet the extra calories that premie babies need. She was born at 5.13 lbs and is now 11.13 lbs at her 4 months check up. I highly recommend this formula if your baby can't handle the milk-based formula.
I went through every single kind and always ended up back here. Wish I would have saved all the hassle and just knew it was simply just the best and that's why u must pay for the best. Worth it. Lots of coupons when sign up online for rewards.
This formula a week in has really helped my family. I was on nutramigen and had to make the switch due to the recall. The price is way better, the smell is no where near what Nutramigen smells like THANKFULLY. My son has terrible reflux and is on a heartburn medication and he is barely throwing up now. Nutramigen had him vomiting like crazy every feeding. Also my son will even feed and go right to sleep now. With Nutramigen he would feed and just tantrum from being in pain and discomfort from reflux. I am only a week in but I have already seen good improvements. Now he isn't totally cured from reflux but I would definitely say to try this formula out if your baby is reflux.
Great for babies with Cows Milk Protein Allergy. Has a funky smell that reminds me of white cheddar cheez its lol. I imagine that has something to do with how they make the formula hypoallergenic. The 6 pack of cans is the best value, but it unfortunately goes out of stock frequently.
It's very hard to head at times to store to request service for formula as associates at times don't come when help is requested, I opted to order formula to be delivered and requested bigger tub to be sent but to be told they had to substitute for two smaller cans and charge my credit card additional $7 difference. I was very unhappy.
It has a very strong and ugly smell and I also found this in my baby's milk.
Absolutely terrible service. The formula was never received as it was delivered on a bank holiday and therefore the office was closed. Apparently I can not receive a refund or my formula for my baby. Perishable items should be delivered directly to a person and not placed on the floor outside an office that is obviously closed. I wanted to give 0 but I have to add a star for the rating to be posted.
My baby's pediatrician prescribed Alimentum formula for my baby due to protein sensitivities but the powdered version has been impossible to find until recently so I have been forced to purchase the “ready-to-feed” type which is more expensive (I don't believe for a second that this is a coincidence.) I finally found the powdered kind and thought I'd be able to save a little bit of money on formula but my baby will not drink it since she is use to the ready-to-feed. I have to believe it must taste different as I am very diligent about ensuring the correct water to formula ratios are mixed (I use filtered water only.) I purchased 2 small cans of this powdered formula at about $30 per can. It turned out to be a waste of almost $60.
