Saves money over time rather than using disposable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used any other type of nursing pads to compare these too,so I'll just give you my totally honest opinion of NuAngel Natural Cotton Washable Nursing Pads. I love the soft material, it feels nice against my chest, though the cotton does sometimes stick to my nipples from the wetness of the milk and leaves behind little strays of fuzz. The material is also somewhat warm, because it's relatively thick. It's HIGHLY visible through my shirt unless I'm wearing a bra with thick padded or molded cups, so if you're looking for discretion this won't do. They seem to be lasting well in the wash, I've used them for a month so far. For me, they get the job done, but I also haven't leaked too much when out and about so far. I would highly recommend it!.
These nursing pads are my absolute favorite!! When we had our first child my mom randomly picked these up for me. I threw away all the rest that I was trying (including like 4 different "big name" brands) and purchased more of these. I bought more for our second baby and now again for our third. Other types still feel wet when you leak and don't actually absorb milk but these work amazing and always keep you dry. They are also so very soft and not scratchy at all.
Bought two packs to have enough for the week and they work really well, they're soft too. I haven't bought any disposable ones since I got these. It's also really easy to pop them in the wash.
these are definitely not as harsh on your skin and its a cheaper alternative to the disposable pads.
I like These. They are comfortable and tend to catch good because of the size. I bought 3 packs, so 12 pads in all. I go through them fast! I tried hand washing and drying but I feel machine washing and air drying is better. They curl up in the dryer. If you have a light or medium leak of breast milk these would work good for you. If you have a heavy flow or are just starting out breast feeding where your boobs are really filling up these would not work! I used them when I was starting out and soaked completely through them. I use them now that my supply has leveled out and I still leak through them sometimes if I don't check them after a few hours. I go through my 12 in about 2-3 days. They do also imprint easily on the bra. I pulled the original padding out my nursing bra (so a thin bra) to make it more comfy but I can't wear just these breast pads in the bra if I go out because you can clearly tell I have something in there. Im sure it would work fine in thicker bras.!Other than that the product is great! I think if it was just made of thicker material it would work a lot better. I still like them a lot.
I haven't used this product yet. The feel of the cotton is nice, and I am happy to support American made products. Looking forward to testing it out. The pads are not shaped to contour to the ****, but hopefully that is not an issue in practical use.
They definitely helped me recover by using in between disposable ones when I can. But you can easily leak through. I probably will not use them in public. But do like them for at home
I bought these because I thought they had a good rating and wanted to save money on nursing pads. I should have read the reviews because after going through and reading, I've learned that people are rating these as a 5 stars and some aren't even using them. These pads are terrible. I have leaked through during every let down.
I bought these because I liked that you could reuse them but unfortunately I've had a few issues with them. One being they are very fuzzy after I washed them and the fuzz was transferring to the baby while breastfeeding. Two, I have leaked thru them on multiple times. Thank goodness I was home because my shirt was soaked. I ended up just buying the disposable ones.
