Each bottle contains 240 capsules, each containing 100mg of Niacin. Nutricost strives to provide the best supplements at the best prices. Please be aware that taking high dosages of Vitamin B3 (Niacin), especially when your body is not used to it, can lead to what is often referred to as the Niacin flush. A "niacin flush" is a temporary side effect of taking niacin; it's also a protocol used by some physicians. Studies have shown that niacin flush has a lot of benefits. However, if you are looking for just the benefits of vitamin b3 without the flush, we'd recommend using a different form of Vitamin b3 such as Niacinamide. Nutricost, located and headquartered in the USA, only uses the best ingredients to ensure maximum quality and to help you feel your best! By keeping our supplement recipes simple and clean, you get the best experience possible with Nutricost. All Nutricost supplements are manufactured in a GMP-compliant and FDA-registered facility, provide quality in ingredients, and offer a variety of options for your health support. And each batch of every product is tested by independent, ISO-accredited laboratories to ensure safety and quality.

My cardiologist insists on full flush niacin in a high dosage. I have a history of hypertension, mild atrial fibrillation, high cholesterol. Am nit yet ready to die or become impaired so I give his words some respect. This is the Best Buy I've found.
Work great and is the flushing kind. Was what I was looking for.
i didnt try yet but thank you
it's okay for the price it's a value
I researched Niacin B-3 years ago and decided to go with Niacinamide versions as opposed to Nicotinic versions. Years later I had forgot that there was a MAJOR difference and that the Nicotinic version can cause severe skin flushing. I was running low on my Niacinamide version and placed an order for this one with noticing the difference. I took my first pill about 10 minutes before eating lunch. Just as I was about to eat my head started burning, my face was beet red, burning and itching, then my arms started burning and itching. I thought I was having a severe allergic reaction to something and was about to die, so I took some Benedryl liquid and drank a lot of water. 5-7 minutes later I started feeling slightly better and the symptoms slowly started dissipating. In a few minutes I narrowed it down to what I had recently eaten and any new or different supplements. Three new ones started that day, did some research, then found/remembered the reaction to Nicotinic version. That was it.
As a long time user of niacin that flushes, not sure the pills are manufactured consistently. The flush is correct in one and then the next one does nothing. I went down from the 500mg capsules to the 100mg capsules. Still with this brand from capsule to capsule the result is different. Highly concerning as to the audit factors involved with production.
I take this for the flushing effect during my workouts. I have a very regimented routine and these only work sometimes and other times not at all. Couple days I get a slight flush, some days none AT ALL and some days I feel like I'm going to explode.
This product is 500 mgs. No one should be ingesting this much Niacin. I ended up in the ER. My entire body looked as if I was extremely sun burn and it was extremely uncomfortable. ER had to pump me with fluids and Benedryl. The daily recommended allowance for healthy individuals is about 12 mg. Dr said never take this vitamin.
Apparently I experienced the most common side effect of this product. I took one tablet and about 45 minutes to an hour later I started feeling an itchy tingle on my scalp and it moved down my neck to the rest of my body. My skin turned red, itchy, tingly and hot. It was awful. Apparently this is a purging side effect so I guess it was getting rid of toxins from my body but like I said it felt awful and I haven't taken it since that experience. The side effect last for about 3 or 4 hours until it finally got out of my system.
I didn't flush, I broke out in hives, all over my body. Additional research discounts heart benefits and monitoring the amount of Niacin in food.
