Although the bottle says "Petites", I was still surprised at how large these pills were since I have a problem swallowing large pills. These fooled me as they are coated and very easy to swallow without any problems for me. I will buy this supplement for Calcium from now on since it causes me no problems. One of the best things about Calcium Citrate +D3 is that you do not have to wait to take on a full stomach. It can also be taken on an empty stomach. My doctor recommended Calcium Citrate vs. Calcium Bicarbonate because the Citrate is easier on the body and to absorb.
The product is one you can count on. Must follow directions and continue use for greatest effectiveness. Have used before and will continue to use. I stopped once for about six months and became very stiff; once I started again the stiffness is now much improved. Will certainly recommend to friends and relatives. As well, tables are easy to swallow and can be taken without eating an entire meal.
I take this product on my Dr.'s instructions. I much prefer the "Petites" because of the smaller size. The service through mail order was quick and complete. I compared the prices with several well known mail order pharma sites. Walmart's prices and responsive service was the best. Thanks!
When my doctor specifically recommended these Citracal “petites“ I was happy to hear they are petite. However, they are quite large. Today for the first time since I started taking them about a month ago, i swallowed one sort of sideways and it really felt stuck. I just kept drinking water and was OK but sure wish the manufacturer would make them smaller. I have nothing to say for the quality or how they work because I just trusted what the doc recommended. Just be aware before you buy and check with your doctor.i am thinking of writing the company to request that they find a way to make them smaller.
I purchased these specifically because they were labeled as "petites." Waste of $10. My Dr. recommends 1200 mg/day. So I would have to choke down 6 of these and since the Vitamin D is built in, I'd be getting too much D. Also the pills contain PEG and other items that I'd prefer not to take. I should have read the ingredients and mg amounts. Lesson learned. Although there's no way I could have know how large the caplets were.
False labeling!! This pill is NOT petite. It's huge. I compared it to a Centrum Silver and it's about the same size (see picture, purple pill is the Centrum silver). I only purchased this version because the label said it was petite. No way. It's a large pill. I will see if I can return the bottle but since I had to open the bottle to see the pill size, not sure I will be able to return. So disgusted.
They are NOT petite. Cost more than regular size and must take twice as many for a serving. The pink and white one in the picture are regular size calcium pills. The one on the left is the "Citracal Petites" - as large or larger than other brands regular size.
They say petites and they are the same size as another brand. Not happy with this purchase..
You delivered shampoo not calcium
Supposed to pick up my things between five and six couldn't find a parking spot. Had to drive around about four or five times finally got in. Took him 20 minutes to bring out my order. Don't ever go between five and six is terrible.
