I put this in my smoothies for an extra boost of caffeine that outlasts my morning coffee. It's the best tasting! The peach takes away the bitterness from straight matcha without being sweet or fake peach tasting. I haven't made a matcha latte with it though.
I love the quality and flavor of this product and how easy it is to use! It dissolves pretty quickly into hot water or almond milk and becomes pretty frothy. I don't love this flavor as much as the original matcha but the peach is not overwhelming at all.
Highly highly recommend! My husband and I gave up coffee last fall and haven't looked back thanks to this peach matcha. We love it so much - it's become a well-stocked staple in our home. It's also great for anyone who isn't a health nut or who is picky. The flavor and subtle sweetness is much more accessible than traditional plain matcha, which can be too earthy for many.
Truth be told I'm a bit addicted to the Vital Protein's Peach Matcha. After several years of drinking green tea and organic 'Matcha Love' (which I used to LOVE), VP released their line of Matcha collagen products and I was instantly sold. I do love how the peach buffers the grassy taste of matcha and therefor think the Peach flavor is better tasting than the Original VP Matcha (btw_ÑÓ all Matcha teas have a bit of a grassy taste). The peach is very subtle, not overt or sweet in its flavor profile so don't expect a an outright syrupy sweet peach flavor. Now when I run out of my favorite Peach Matcha and resort to drinking /normal/ matcha it's so grassy. If you absolutely hate matcha tea this product might not be for you, but if you do like green teas there's a good chance you'll love it too! (Haven't tried either of the new Matcha Latte flavors yet... but hope to do so soon once they're back in stock)
I've used Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for about half a year now and I LOVE those. I add a scoop in with my coffee every morning, but lately, I was looking to mix that up. I have heard of the awesome benefits of matcha so I looked into it myself and knew I had to go with VP matcha. This peach flavored matcha is so delicious! I actually get excited to go make a cup and it's the first thing I do when I wake up. The peach taste is more subtle than expected, but lately I have been replacing it with my morning coffee. Sooo good, especially when hot! It gives me good energy too. Plus awesome antioxidant benefits and collagen! I will definitely continue to buy. Since it is a little pricey for 24 servings and I often want to drink more than one cup of this a day, I will probably begin to rotate with coffee (w/ a scoop of regular collagen peptides) every other day.
Making my own matcha lattes has never been so easy. The powder mixes into such a smooth consistency. A little hot water, some almond milk, and a little dollop of coconut oil and BAM. Magic. And it has protein and all the collagen benefits? I'm so thrilled I found this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It actually tastes great and I have a bottle filled with the mix and water every afternoon to keep going. I like to take naps if not lol but I haven't found other collagen drinks I like so please don't stop selling this flavor!
I recently purchased the Matcha Collagen and I am happy with the product, but as stated in the Easy to use instructions in the container and also here in the website this powder DOES NOT dissolve well in cold water, unless you use a mixer or is added to a smoothie in a blender.
This definitely has a taste you have to get used too. It doesn't dissolve very well, and I couldn't tell there was peach in it. I added mine to vanilla almond milk and it made it taste better, but you have to really mix it, even before adding it to a blender bottle. But it worked good.
I really wanted to like this product because I love matcha and other vital products but there is something in this product that I cannot enjoy. I do not know if is the peach flavoring but there is an off bitter taste. I have prepared the matcha a few different ways but get the flavor each time.
