I really like these pills because they really are helping me out with my stress and with some of my eating habits it's helping me Can to control it.
Same ingredients as the Rexall brand that dollar general used to carry.
So helpful! If you're looking for a natural herb that helps take the edge off if you find yourself irratible, irrational, testy, confrontational, etc.... this just may help! I started on a lower dose than is suggested and I'm not taking the full dose, yet. The new saying for me is, "Sometimes there just isn't enough St. John's Wort!" Lol
I noticed a difference within 48 hours of using this product. Great pick me up for the winter blues.
My relative needed a low-dose St. John's Wort for mild mood problems. The higher doses in most other brands were just too strong and caused her to feel woozy. This Sundown Naturals version was the only brand that we could find that comes in a low enough dosage. She takes only one capsule each day. It is perfect for her. It gives her a very sublte, but definitely noticable mood lift - a lot less feelings of negativity and sadness - with no noticable side effects. And it is reasonably priced. She's been taking this for about a year, and it continues to work. St. John's Wort has some potential interactions with other drugs, so it's best to run it by a doctor before taking it.
I have been taking this for about a week now, no side effects and no burst of energy! But, I am not depressed and I am naturally a positive person. I am taking it because it is "said" to have anti-viral properties, and its aid in treating arthritis. In addition it is said to be helpful for women (I am post menopausal) and because winter is approaching if it helps me be positive during the winter months that will be an added bonus. What I don't like: taking it 3 times a day. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules 3 times a day with food, this is difficult for me because I am usually busy. What I love about it: The ingredients not used to make this product. My preference would be to grow my own but for now I will be ordering another bottle because I don't like running out of my supplements.
After doing careful research on the side effects of this product, I felt that it wouldn't be a good idea to take it. I informed Walmart. com of my concerns and they graciously refunded my money! I strongly urge everyone to do a thorough research into whatever product that you are considering buying before you buy it!
